Topics: 80Have only won four of their ten away games this season.
They average two goals a game on their league travels.
If we bag three times, then we’ve a chance of the win.
😂🤔😂December 22, 2022 at 9:22 am #250829Hope they bring 2000+, send them as many tickets as possible we need to pay wages.
December 22, 2022 at 9:29 am #250830Wealdstone averaged less than a goal a game in home matches before they played us. They got 3 which suggests we might need to score 7 to win.

December 22, 2022 at 9:57 am #250834If we need to rely on away fans to pay wages we’re in deep shit, last decent away crowd till April, makes you wonder what Turnbull as being doing with the budget? A more than healthy average crowd of 2700+ Best ever shirt sales since the championship days, one months wages paid by someone else, what the f is he doing.

We’ll do well to net 7 by the Vernal Equinox.

How about a reversed BOGOF?
Buy One Pay For Two.
A BOPFT 😂

A Feast Of Goals On Boxing (Day).
Well into one goal anyway.
December 22, 2022 at 6:22 pm #250867Why all this clamour to give Swanny more money? Bigger gates, buy one pay for two, I thought the idea was not to give him money so he sells up.

December 24, 2022 at 9:08 am #250984There will be a big crowd, we all know it, 5000 at least and the Club Shop busy.
No chance they slip up to us.

Topics: 80How many tickets have Chesterfield been allocated?
December 24, 2022 at 11:50 am #250996Give them 6,000 – we need the money and it won’t affect the result. Be good to see the ground full, get plenty of grub/drinks in and maximise that too.
December 24, 2022 at 12:54 pm #251005Exactly who needs the money?
December 24, 2022 at 1:11 pm #251006Employees would be high on the list I’d have thought.
December 24, 2022 at 1:50 pm #251008But they get paid every month Cass. We don’t buy any players so nothing to see there, anything left surely goes to Swanny.
December 24, 2022 at 3:22 pm #251011They all got paid yesterday, early.

Cardiff.
December 24, 2022 at 7:41 pm #251040In January, gate receipts from Wrexham and 2000 Chesterfield fans, also the money that was saved when Ian and Simon paid the wages for December.

That’s a bit of good news 👍

So you agree that we do need the money then.
December 25, 2022 at 11:20 am #251076You posed the question Cass I just gave an answer, what are you getting at do you think that Turnbull as blown all the money He’s had up to now?
December 25, 2022 at 1:27 pm #251082Exactly who needs the money?
Your question I think.

December 26, 2022 at 1:42 pm #251128Has Ernest got a bet on?
Had he bet on the Iron to lose every game in the last 4-5 seasons he’d be laughing!December 26, 2022 at 1:55 pm #251131Just bought my ticket,or so I thought, worldplay sent me a receipt but I got no ticket.NowI’ve got to effing queue up to prove I have paid
December 26, 2022 at 5:45 pm #251141Well despite the result I thought today’s game was reasonably entertaining and the guys gave it a real go second half particularly when young Wilson came on and lit things up. Dreadful giving away of the ball for their second and I reckon Foster would have kept their first out but how many times does the dire Dewhurst get beaten from range, very poor IMO. Shame for Apter going off injured in his possible last game for us but I’ve enjoyed watching him play in an Iron shirt. What with administration probably just around the corner, the sale deal possibly stalling and our relegation looking more likely by the game, I enjoyed the game today and some of the footy from the Iron was good, hard luck guys keep plugging away.
