A Premiership defender? I just can’t believe it.
Started today for Brentford.
Goode luck to him though.
Did you see the game? How did he get on? I see they kept a clean sheet so he must have done something right.
They had 3 CBs to look after Rondon who’s merely a highly paid Loft. Not sure Everton would have scored against The Iron!!
He seems to have hardly played last season, so interesting he’s getting games now in the Premier League. Fantastic for him though, it’s an amazing story to have come from non-league to the top flight in a few years.
I wonder what will become of our other Premier League former defender, Mr Bedeau?
lucky not to give a penalty away, but played well.

True but yes he did OK. Still a cause of great amusement to me. Since he left for a pittance (shrewd us !!) we find he had a long throw – we never found that out in 4 yrs ! What were our coaching geniuses doing in that time ?
Best to him but should have still been with us or sold by us for a big fee. One of many things that point to where we are now.
We got rid because he was shite and an absolute calamity for us (along with the rest of the defence) in our League 1 relegation season. If anyone had told you back then that he’d be a Premiership defender they would have been laughed all the way to the mental home! Fair play to him though.
How many players have we got rid of over the years that went on to become high achievers?
Goode isn’t the first and won’t be the last.
If Ryan Loft ever becomes a premiership player I will show my arse on the town hall steps. (That is risky in Brighton.)
You’re safe.

One of Rondon’s boots has more ability than Loft !
