Just seen itv coverage of the Boreham Wood chairman and the way by comes across in the support of his club, his manager, staff and players. Why can’t we have one like this?
Hasn’t Swann always come across the same? He does in the statements I have heard or read, talk is cheap though.
I’ve only seen Boreham Wood play live once and that was at my home town Worksop in the FA Trophy and their supporters are the worst I have ever seen at a football match that day, extra police had to be brought from Sheffield that afternoon and what I gather they still have a bit of a reputation, they won that day so god knows what they would have been like if they had lost, but on the pitch they have done well this last few seasons, if I remember properly Scunny played there in a pre season friendly once a few years ago.
Haven’t they got a bit of previous with the Cods too over recent games? think its them anyway.
Booing the Ukranian, tossers.
Missed that, was half watching. Tossers indeed.
Nearly right Ironawe it was Bromley, Grimsby staff and fans not happy with their celebrations after scoring and winning, said they acted like they had won the world cup. And there was me thinking it was cods invading the pitch and giving it large after every goal away from home on their way to the top of the table.

I dunno, some of things he comes out with sound quite familiar….

A non-league chairman?
I think we’re getting one next season!
Non-league and person non grata

Whoa there…
I was at the game last night and in the Boreham Wood end. There was no booing whatsoever, far from it. The stadium as a whole were all supportive to the plight of Ukraine, so stop making up stories.
Heard booing when he was taking a throw-in in the corner the second time they wouldn’t throw the ball back. Other reports saying the same thing.
Right…
Do you have evidence to back up the claim Heath? Cliff Richard is claiming otherwise.
The only evidence is what I heard admittedly on TV as he was waiting for the Boreham Wood fans to give the ball back. A couple of comments on the Everton forum do refer to the booing as well as the widely reported fighting each other.
Congratutions to Cliff who was there, and happy to accept his first hand account.
