You’re wasted on here, and I really mean wasted.

It’s turned 4pm.There won’t be any announcements today.
Tripe or Truth?
Looks as if it’s more tripe.August 4, 2023 at 4:51 pm #268321Tripe sandwiches pulled from GP catering outlets on matchday. What a refreshing change.
August 4, 2023 at 4:55 pm #268322Definitely tripe about the capacity, 13/14 days since the SAG inspection and it’s only come out yesterday about the capacity really, and like I said we’ve already played a game since then with more than 2000 there. The SAG inspection is a council inspection all councils have to do them if they have stadia most like us will have minor infringements and even then if they have clubs have time to rectify them, the iron trust chairman is a councilor surely Tony would have said something, the club can get stewards whenever needed, they did last year surely everyone saw them they where mainly afro Caribbean looking from Leeds, must have been at least 50 of them.
August 4, 2023 at 4:58 pm #268324A await with great anticipation at the really big announcement that Deerey alluded to.

To be fair, I doubt the SAG would make a decision straight away, based on their findings. Barnsley have been hit by it only today, but I am sure their inspection wasn’t yesterday.
That said, it doesn’t look like any statement is being released today. Which gives us two options really. Either the club has decided to sit on any issue and not tell us or the rumours were false. If it’s the former, the club need to wisen up and keep us in the loop, and get their arse in gear over running the club. If it’s the latter, then those making these rumours need to stop. Also, if there is something here, they need to not jump from hearing something about a situation and saying it will explode the next day, assuming a statement would be released.
August 4, 2023 at 5:32 pm #268329And to be fair I doubt whether SAG would drip feed what improvements they needed doing, and Scunny told us about the director box one on the 21st of July. The club don’t need to quell rumors they’d never have the time, scunny give more info out than most if not all non lge clubs.

Lol, you still trolling / fishing? I didn’t allude to ‘a really big announcement’ whatsoever. Again, you’re distorting what people say to suit an agenda. On another thread I posted
‘I’m also aware that this point is pretty small fry in relation to what’s incoming today.’
There was some stuff on social media yesterday that this alludes to, be it true or false. My post above is a reply to another poster on here about potential developments, not some grand claim that there would be a huge announcement today. It also followed numerous other posts around the theme. But hey, if you want to continue your creepy singling out of me in particular, along with anyone else you can get to pile on, go ahead lad. 👍
August 4, 2023 at 5:38 pm #268331Ironmageddon postponed again then?

I didn’t say the SAG should drip feed, nor that the club should quash unfounded rumours. However, a fortnight isn’t beyond an unexpected turnaround for a report of this nature.
August 4, 2023 at 5:55 pm #268333Ironmageddon postponed again then?
It may be. I think people were jumping the gun in assuming there would be a statement based on what the issue is. I have spoken to enough people to believe there is something in it.
Frankly, the local news needs to be a lot more proactive in unearthing these things here, but maybe we’re too low down now for them to care. That said, there are rumours of injunctions against the BBC and/or The Athletic, so this might not be possible (if true)!
August 4, 2023 at 7:01 pm #268336To be fair if the club had released a statement regarding every rumour that has surfaced over the past year, then they’d need a press office the size of the BBC Newsroom!
August 4, 2023 at 7:02 pm #268337And what is incoming today Deerey?
August 4, 2023 at 7:09 pm #268339That post reads like Deerey is backtracking. I doubt you’ll get an answer that makes any sense.

August 4, 2023 at 7:45 pm #268342Lol, not sure what’s difficult to understand? I got the impression from posts on social media that some significant news was incoming today. Hasn’t transpired for whatever reason. Perhaps should have said ‘in relation to perhaps what is incoming today’. So what? Hardly crime of the year is it compared to some of the shite spouted on here by others. Is that clear enough for you? By all means, continue with your weird fascination of me. Kind of flattering 🥰
August 4, 2023 at 7:46 pm #268343I think people were expecting the club to announce what was decided upon following the SAG.
August 4, 2023 at 7:53 pm #268344Perhaps Siderite. Not what I was alluding to or mentioned once tbh. But looks like I’m the whipping boy today in the absence of an IB or II pile on. Ah well.

August 4, 2023 at 8:14 pm #268347Once more, Siderite, the club announced where the SAG inspection would affect the fans on the 21st of July. Why would people expect them to announce something more 15 days later?
August 4, 2023 at 8:20 pm #268348The club announced regarding director’s boxes then. I don’t think the current situation being discussed or mentioned has anything to do with that.
August 4, 2023 at 8:37 pm #268349There is no current situation it’s just a rumour.
August 4, 2023 at 8:40 pm #268350It is, but from what I have been told by truistworthy sources I think it has merit. Obviously I realise others will be sceptical, and I accept that, but I trust those who have given me information.
August 4, 2023 at 8:56 pm #268351Hilton described the rumour as “nonsense” on Facebook.
August 4, 2023 at 8:59 pm #268352I trust these people more than him.
August 4, 2023 at 9:03 pm #268353Once more, Siderite, the club announced where the SAG inspection would affect the fans on the 21st of July. Why would people expect them to announce something more 15 days later?
Probably because it’s come to light they were looking to impose capacity restrictions on us. I’ve heard it from more than one source myself. I’d presume the club has time to rectify the issues and prevent anything happening prior to the 12th.

August 4, 2023 at 9:03 pm #268354So why isn’t in print, if it were true what’s the problem a safety advisory group limit us to 2000, why keep it secret, what’s any of us going to do about it other than moan, and who are posters going to moan about will it be the council for putting the limit on in the first place or shall we blame that nasty little man Hilton, answers on a postcard.
August 4, 2023 at 9:13 pm #268355If it is true, I’d blame whoever holds the responsibility for ensuring the standards are met. Stadium manager?
Not sure why it isn’t in print Awayswego, then again neither was the rumours about the ground, the training ground being moved or the academy being shut, all turned out to be true.
My cards on the table: I really want it to work out with Hilton, our future is tied with how deep his pockets are and whether he has the will to turn this club around.

August 4, 2023 at 10:18 pm #268358hillton can say what he likes but there will be capacity restrictions imposed unless sufc fix up and sort the issues , it is pretty simple , i am sure he will do the necessery otherwise will look v foolish
August 4, 2023 at 10:49 pm #268361So if he sorts things so the capacity isn’t altered he’s a top guy in your book insider, being as these stadium capacity rules are breached by other clubs pre season and they sort it?
August 5, 2023 at 12:20 am #268364After the last 5 years of sh1te wouldn’t it be wonderful to have to seriously worry about a capacity restriction.
