Mathematically, that’s where we are heading. Has any team stayed up with so few points? And does anyone really believe….not hope, REALLY BELIEVE we’ll get many more than that?

Sure, this board is full of new manager bounce and optimism.

But let’s do reality instead. Probably our most consistent midfielder dropped and finally given nine minutes.
No real changes and one point, at home, with less possession and only one third of their shots on target… against a low-rated side.

Sure, sure, go on about lack of fitness etc etc, but if that’s true, it could be another half dozen games before we’re some of the team up to speed.

Meanwhile, we are still rock bottom and have had a draw and two defeats AT HOME in Hill’s first three.

As the lift attendants used to say…going down.

Your talking as though all other teams are way out in front of us Alcy points wise, when in reality 3 other teams are within 2 pts and another 4 within 5 pts, their fans will be looking over their shoulder with trepidation now we have Hill on board, even some codheads now think we might get to safety and them not win their lge, funny what goes on in-between them lug holes of ours, sure most fans go through the same feelings optimism pessimism, have you ever had any optimism ever Alcy?.

I remember my mother saying that during the winter of 1940/41 everyone thought it was just a matter of time before the Germans landed on our shores.

We’re not done for just yet!

Alcy actually wants us to go down. He values being proven to be right far higher than the future of the club he supposedly supports. He is right that we are on target for 35 points and if correct we will go down. But it’s too early to throw in the towel.

I heard Alcy tried optimism once.

    Didn’t like it.

I like alcy but it does seem he wants us to go down which I find absolutely incredible. Look, we’re in deep shit with currently a team which has fitness levels which only sees them through 60 mins but I feel optimistic now we have a proper manager in charge.

I feel that as soon as Hill get’s the fitness levels up and puts a further stamp on things we’ll keep improving.

Also came January if Swann keeps his nose out and allows Hill to wheel and deal, that will further strengthen us.

If we can send Wood back.
    Get O’Neil out on loan.
    Move Bunn and Hallam on.
Move Jarvis on if he doesn’t stop wanting a whole minute to put easy chances away.

Other questionable players we have but he won’t be able to ship them all out.

Before Hill came in I didn’t really have any hope if truth be told but now Hill is in I genuinely do believe now.

Didn’t have you down as one of those types Mick.

And if you mean “being rescued after weeks or months of dangerous & uncertain travel” is “not much difficulty”, then I’m not going on holiday with you!

The travel would be far less dangerous and uncertain if they headed towards some of their richer neighbours.

    This old chestnut?
You never did credit me that I was right about Swann very early on, when saying what I did brought condemnation, derision and abuse.

Now you’re trying to peddle the idea that, because you don’t like what I’m saying, I’m somehow less of a supporter than you.

    Give it up, mate.
    Just apologise and move on.🙂

    Who does alcy support ?

I’ve heard he’s propped up the bar quite a few times over the last fifty years.

    LOL, if you like.
Just admit I was right, you were wrong and you can then start to get over it.

It’ll make you feel better and you can stop peddling cr@p to try and nake me look bad.
