    Thoughts:
Clarke was a weak link most of the game but did a decent enough job at CB later on.

One of Bedeau’s better performances. Gritty and no bloopers.

In three of the last four games Eisa has looked like a little boy lost.

Best performance so far from GK.

Gutsy performances across the team. Scrapped for everything.

Green saw little ball up front but put in a shift and made the goal.

Kev looking better by the game.

I said to Mrs LesGeo at the three quarter mark, “I’ve seen a lot of games over the years where a side batters another but fails to score. So often the odd goal then goes to the side under the cosh.” Smirk. (It’s usually been us as the victims!)

A defensive performance which worked has been a rarity for the manager.

My complaints about reffing standards have clearly been reported back to The Referees’ Association and acted upon as we have had great back-to-back performances from the last two refs.

Why do our CBs break so easily?

For large portions of the game, when we were pushed back, we did not leave a man on the halfway line as an outlet. Okay – we didn’t concede last night, but this is not the way to approach the game.

Got the commentary from Cambridge by fiddling about with the audio.
Thought it was one of the better ones. I still prefer Mike White and Tom Newey – a good combination.

I greatly value B’B’s. comments and ratings. It’s a matter of opinions.

Howard was excellent when called upon.
Cambridge reminded me of us when we started faltering under GA. Granted they had a lot of the ball, but they ran out of ideas and the longer it went on the easier it got for us. That said, thought we defended really well considering we ended as a makeshift back four.
Clarke got stuck in at times, but sad to say I think he is finished.

Yes it was Beestin that scored, just a slip of the keyboard, but not quiet a hanging offence is it.

I’m afraid it is BS, as we speak a scaffold is being constructed outside your old boozer the Bellend. Please be there 6 o clock prompt on Friday, several moles will be available for any last request of yours that may be granted. Don’t forget to say cheese to the camera when the handle is pulled by Mr Bullybeeftin. 😂 PS. Book an eye test.

Think Clarke might need a permanent move to CB his distribution has been poor and his inclination to burst forward is all but gone. Thought he did better at CB last night than he’s done at RB.
He’s not going to get games at CB here though unless the injury disaster carries on.

Apart from one misjudged header that gave away an unnecessary corner I thought Beadeau had one of his better games last night. His best for some time.

Whenever I’ve seen him at centre back, he’s always impressed me far more than at full back.

We got away with one as Green was pretty clearly offside in the build-up to Beestin’s goal. That said, Beestin had plenty to do and did it brilliantly.

Regarding Clarke – I get the impression he is ‘looking after himself’ in matches and wonder if he is on an appearance based contract and trying to avoid injury. Could also explain why he gets in before Rowe if “picked if fit” is also in the contract?

I have only seen the highlights, but if those were the HIGHlights, it really must have been a really bad game to watch, apart from the result.

You’re not wrong there Dutch, it was very tough to watch. In the words of our manager “we got absolutely battered…scored one goal and won the game by luck.”

Iron-awe, funny thing pal, I have an eye test booked for 10-15 on the 9th March, but I think that my eyes need more than new specs, I must have had too many moles.

Tell them to make sure it is a strong scaffolding that will take at least 20 stoned, and one last request is for me to meet the FORUM SIX and treat them to a good piss up in the Bellend Pub ha ha! and no bloody need for any Moles, those little brats are too painfull.
