Pre match in here please
October 13, 2020 at 4:02 pm #195792Allowing plenty of time for spleen venting this week eh?
October 13, 2020 at 5:40 pm #195796Cambridge were my dark horse picks this season; made some astute signings for this level including Wes hoolahan who is a great signing despite his age .
If we carry on from where we left off on Saturday it could be another hiding.
October 13, 2020 at 7:11 pm #195800If Rowe is fit and we start Onariase we might only lose 2-0 instead of 4.
October 13, 2020 at 9:20 pm #195808A good tonking in the offing I’m afraid and will need more fingers than on one hand to keep count.
October 13, 2020 at 9:40 pm #195809Couldn’t agree more Charlie,we just don’t have the players to compete at this level I am afraid,we are s total shambles from top to bottom needs sorting now, before we sail into oblivion, anyone know what has happened to lad Mooney, seems to have vanished, thought he might have been involved in debracle against MC,just a thought
October 13, 2020 at 10:43 pm #195810Mooney was another superb signing from the board.
October 14, 2020 at 10:20 am #195817Can’t be arsed to care at the moment, haven’t enjoyed a single game under Cox’s tenureship so will probably give this one a miss.
October 14, 2020 at 11:06 am #195819That’s easily explainable, BLT, there hasn’t been a game you could have reasonably enjoyed.
October 14, 2020 at 2:49 pm #195827I fully agree with the above two comments, the big question is “how long will Mr Swann allow this situation to carry on”, it is well past the time for him to take on some advice when the next manager is appointed, he obviotsly has no idea himself when selecing our managers.
The annoying yhimg is that they all start off with the same old bull shit, “I want my team playing attacking and entertaining football”, the trouble is that this has only happened once, and that was when Alexander took over, and that was then ended for some unknown reason half way through a season when we had promition in our hands, until we don’t know why, but he changed it completely and we gained 3 points from our next nine matches.
TIME TO SORT THINGS OUT MR CHAIRMAN, BECAUSE RELEGATION IS ONCE AGAI LOOKING US IN THE FACE, AND THE SAD THING IS MR COX THINKS THINGS ARE OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 14, 2020 at 3:05 pm #195830It’s the Chairman that needs sorting out, all this chopping and changing managers is under his watch and the crap footy since Alexander’s last few month’s in charge has been under his watch. Club is seemingly rotten from the top down.
October 14, 2020 at 6:01 pm #195837I cant see anything here other than a cambridge win. The club is on its arse and we are simply getting rolled over.
October 14, 2020 at 11:14 pm #195843Manafwes select the team and playing tactics, we have won ONE bloody game out of EIGHT, and we were battered ithat match, so it is the manager that is standing outside of the dug out nd has control of what his team is suposed to do on the pitch. Swanns prob;em is that he has no idea when he selects his next manager.
October 15, 2020 at 10:09 am #195850Here’s an idea for Neil in case he’s reading Bru.
Watson
Rowe Onariase Cordner/Bedeau Vincent
Gillead Taylor Spence Eisa
McAtee ANOther
Can’t pick a partner for McAtee as several have shown flashes of talent but little consistency. I think it’s reasonable to allow the manager some input anyway.October 15, 2020 at 10:14 am #195851Very generous of you Cass.
October 15, 2020 at 10:40 am #195852More input than some think he gets now?
October 15, 2020 at 8:20 pm #195878McAtee won’t play he’s deemed quite unfit in terms of match fitness he was brought off after 60 mins for the u23’s. Olomola won’t be fit either.
Hard to figure out who goes upfront though. Turan, Loft and Jarvis are all target men. Mooney’s due to go out on loan. Loft and Turan didn’t work. I suppose we could try Turan and Jarvis ?
I agree though McAtee would be the better fit with either of those though.
By the way, even though Rowe came through 90 mins for the u23’s..Cox is considering going with 3 CB’s. I don’t think he really rates Rowe.
October 17, 2020 at 2:35 pm #1959433-4-3?
That’s a new one!
October 17, 2020 at 2:39 pm #195945I’d say Gillead and Hippolyte wing backs with McAtee behind the front 2.
I don’t hate it.
We’ll see how it goes.
October 17, 2020 at 2:48 pm #195947Arguably the best we can field for that formation, just hope Gillead and Hippolyte are allowed into the opponents half. 6 attacking players gives some hope for positive intent, fingers crossed.
October 17, 2020 at 3:48 pm #195948Looks like it will be damage limitation again although I’m fearing 4 or 5 nil. This is looking really, really bad!
October 17, 2020 at 3:48 pm #195949What a shower of shite, 2 nil down now! Be pleased to see the back of swanny!!!
October 17, 2020 at 3:51 pm #195950First pen soft maybe? Second stupid.
Hippolyte having possibly the worst half of football I’ve ever seen in a scunny shirt.
Don’t think the person to touch the ball after him was one of ours on a single occasion.
Shit. Again.
October 17, 2020 at 4:10 pm #195952It’s like watching 11 kids who’ve never met before trying to play against proper footballers.
October 17, 2020 at 4:21 pm #195953How many are they going to get 5 6 7 8,get 2 proper full backs in now there must free agents out there who are better than this lot plus we need a leader on the pitch in 60 years supporting the iron this is the lowest,we are relegation fodder, with no direction,no heart,no spirit, the club is on its arse
October 17, 2020 at 4:26 pm #195954A good tonking in the offing I’m afraid and will need more fingers than on one hand to keep count.
One finger left.
October 17, 2020 at 4:51 pm #195958Already feels like we’re relying on 2 to go out of business for us to stay up.
October 17, 2020 at 4:52 pm #195959Don’t worry, somebody will be along in a minute to tell us all the positives we can take from this game.

Topics: 4I’m sure UTI99 or someone of that ilk will be along to say it’s the fans’ fault for groaning and moaning in the stadium, killing off the confidence of the players.
October 17, 2020 at 4:58 pm #195961Get another bag of S H 1 TEA.
The only bright spot to take from this is that hippo like can’t play the next match. -
