Hope it’s nowt serious!
2414 crowd, 750 mudrats, not a bad crowd for a piss pot friendly.
All looks positive on social media; cracking finish from Shrimpton too.
If anyone went, what formation did we go with?
4-3-3 pretty much as at Gainsborough and Ilkeston so seems this is Jimmy’s go to formation.
Whole team worked very hard at closing down a Hull side that take playing out from the back to extremes.
Possible fracture Waiting update on the X-ray, hopefully just a soft tissue impact injury for him as he looked the part up to now.
Our charismatic manager seemed to think he’d broken his leg, hopefully that’s not the case.
Bruised, not broken according to Hilton
Hopefully Callum is OK.. Incidentally who pays if the players need operations at this level?..The club or do players have to take out their own insurance?
OH bloody ell .. conflicting reports as to the injury but really hope hope its not gonna keep him out long term..
Well he walked off the pitch, not many players with broken legs do that.

When we played Palace in the Cup around 1997, Paul Warhurst walked off the pitch at half time but didn’t reappear for the second half. On the radio on the way home, they said he’d broken his leg! Unless he slipped in the shower, presumably it had happened during the game?
Didn’t Stuart Pearce try to play on with a broken leg too?
I once went to work with a fractured wrist for 8 months after four times going to Hospital in agony and they said it was a sprain, at the 5th time going to A&E they eventually X-rayed it and told me I had a piece of Bone floating about and I had to have an operation to have the Trapezium Bone removed, and I was a Sheet Metal Worker so a lot of lifting and using my hands, so it can be the same with footballers if it isn’t too painful, mine was a fracture that eventually broke away.
Any update from the club on the severity of Roberts injury ??

Check out JD’s pre match comments on today’s Irons website, no fracture just a nasty bang. He hopes to be training next week and the physio is happy with his progress, sounds like he got lucky.
