Well that’s really surprised me the national league getting something right for a change.

What doesn’t surprise me Awaywego is the fact only have commented on this correct announcement. The usual suspects will be crying in their beer tonight.

Many won’t be happy at having to pay again, well the usual suspects won’t but then again they probably don’t go anyway.

Buxton fans who thought anything else might happen were being overly optimistic

After seeing the way the Buxton staff and players reacted on Saturday I am currently p1$$ing myself laughing!

Sing after me “Where’s your 3 points gone, where’s your 3 points gone?”….far far away!

I wonder what the referees assessor made of it all?, I would like to see that particular referee stood down while his competence on several fronts regarding his interpretation of the games rules is brought into focus, he was beyond awful in so many aspects of his refereeing on Saturday.

Maybe the ref assessor intervened on Sat and told him to announce the game was abandoned and not finished. Very prompt decision from the NL.

Have to say am a little relieved at the outcome but what does seem wrong is that the red card still stands even if its as if the fixture never took place. Surely that isn’t right?

It’s completely right, the game was abandoned due to serious weather conditions late in the game, that doesn’t absolve the Buxton player who flattened Whitehall illegally when the game was still being played in glorious sunshine, get a grip he broke the laws of the game and will face sanction as a result, perfectly correct in every way IMO.

The 166 Buxton fans should be given free tickets to the rearranged fixture. This should be paid for by the incompetent officals or their refereeing body or by Buxton fc,it won’t happen but it should.

I’m still waiting for a refund from Charlton and the official’s when the game was called off there for frost, but local games still played, a train refund for the last game of last season when they moved the game to a 5,30 kickoff, same for the Sunderland game when they moved the game to a Sunday cos of an EFL cup game.Shit happens why them anyway what about all the scunny fans that will have to pay again.

Allowing the result to stand would have been tantamount to saying the ref made a wrong decision.

And that would never do, would it?

It should have been called off sooner, same should’ve happened at Curzan Ashton, teams won’t get given the points through a game abandoned by the weather, feel sorry for Buxton being so close but they didn’t help themselves wasting time for players sitting on the floor feigning injury in injury time, so with extra time for taking the penalty and trainers on the pitch there probably been an extra 5 minutes added to the 6 remaining.

Indeed he did, then reversed that decision. But who or what caused that?

I hope they are spitting them in the direction of their own players, they are the ones to blame for the extra time.

Did you get a refund from Dorking on match tickets?

Said I’d take 2 for a later date but no, refunded in full.

Brilliant club, need to go down for a game.

Why them Awaywego because it was caused by incompetent officials and dirty cheating Buxton players in the main. Our own season ticket holders will not have to pay again for the rearrangement or at least I don’t think they will. Most of the rest will be o.k. in paying again rather than us losing the game In that way. Just my opinion.

I won’t mind paying again after a sunny afternoon turned to a monsoon and a football match turned into a pantomime, now where else could you get such entertainment for a £14 concession? I suspect the rerun will be a rather sober affair compared to the original game.
