November 9, 2024 at 10:09 am #293444Ironing Board said last week that a commentary link often appears around KO time. I checked and it did. Maybe try later?

November 9, 2024 at 11:06 am #293459Last commentary – mine was silent til 11 minutes past 3!
Does the blame for the confusion and late everything lie with the BBC or Humberside?
Others arrive on time so I have to point Hullwards.November 9, 2024 at 11:28 am #293460Last commentary – mine was silent til 11 minutes past 3!

Others arrive on time so I have to point Hullwards.Who knows. But I wouldn’t be too hard on the Humberside folks. Funding for local radio is being absolutely decimated (purposefully I think), I imagine technical assistance is first for the chop.
November 9, 2024 at 11:50 am #293462Yep “Radio Hull” swipes are for those along the bumpy road. Could be worse you could be a Boston fan and put up with Radio Lincoln City.
November 9, 2024 at 12:25 pm #293463Well it’s there now as long as you can get Radio Humerside. We could do with a few laughs on a Saturday.
November 9, 2024 at 3:36 pm #293466Torps said fans need to stay patient after conceding as we were on the front foot. He was right by the sound of it. Torps knows.

November 9, 2024 at 3:38 pm #293467Have Buxton got shut of their thuggery?
November 9, 2024 at 3:53 pm #293468I’m not sensing it
November 9, 2024 at 4:45 pm #293469I give up. Can’t defend what I’m hearing
November 9, 2024 at 4:47 pm #293470Well played, Buxton!
November 9, 2024 at 4:57 pm #293474I’m afraid alot of the feel good factor has gone ,this is dismal, promotion you are having a laugh
November 9, 2024 at 5:13 pm #293475Without wanting to get too boring, we need a large presence in CM who can both head a ball and control one. The ability to make passes whilst not losing possession might be nice.

November 9, 2024 at 5:20 pm #293476We played a bit better than last week first half, but without looking truly threatening. Every time Buxton came forward they did, because they could pass and brought forwards together in tandem. As soon as they got a hold of it in the second it was only them winning it.
I cannot defend the team or Butler any more. They’re not good enough. Weak in midfield, weak forwards and the defence is becoming error prone now, and we still persist with this back 5. Carlton wasn’t special, but was the only forward causing them problems, and we looked even worse when he came off.

Didn’t take long. I’m sure majority thinking the same.Glad I was away.
November 9, 2024 at 5:49 pm #293486Grass isn’t always greener. That’s the problem.
November 9, 2024 at 5:56 pm #293489OK we need new players in certain positions but I always thought Jimmy Dean was one of the worst managers but Butler is just as bad.His subs today were ridiculous, why sub four players when thats not needed
November 9, 2024 at 6:00 pm #293494November 9, 2024 at 6:18 pm #293497When I heard he was making 3 subs at once, then a 4th shortly after, I admit to swearing in the house quite loudly.
November 9, 2024 at 6:19 pm #293498Played fast tempo in final 4 mins of injury time, nearly ended up with a draw, goalie made a brilliant save from Whitehall, glad we didn’t Butler would have being doing cartwheels and saying it was a good point the rest was the normal shite.
Like Siderite said played better first half than last week, then showed us another defensive master class in the second and that from a defensive manager who still plays with 5 defenders.
Over egged the crowd imo loads of space in the DRE but still getting smaller whatever.
New contract or not Butler got to be toast soon, the crowds getting well restless well toxic really in the DRE, he didn’t come on the pitch at the end other than to shake hands with the officials, no matter what that’s not acceptable quite happy to take the praise when we win.November 9, 2024 at 6:27 pm #293499Still can’t advocate sacking him. New players and change of formation. Surely both will happen now?
November 9, 2024 at 6:45 pm #293503So what you saying Deerey, someones going to have a word with him on his squad and tactics.
That’ll definitely be the writing on the wall for him can’t be having any interference from above.November 9, 2024 at 6:46 pm #293504The naivety getting players suckered in to go towards the corner flag as if Buxton had some master plan routine, well it worked , they lobbed an ordinary cross into the box and the lad who scored had all the room in the world to execute his free header into the net, good move, bad defending.
