Iron Bru › Forums › Blast Furnace › Butlers report just in.
Well,we could have won three or four games with the chances we had. In other games we would have scored six or seven.Ourluck is just out,but we move on and concentrate on the league.I have every confidence we can turn it around.
As you used to say,” Keith Houchen was right”
Like it or lump it, it seems that an ultimatum to AB from the board is the only thing which MIGHT kick him back into the reality dimension which he no longer seems to inhabit.
I support his sacking but would very much prefer not to be having to do so.
Why not walkover to the DRE and offer that to them Butler, no where to be seen again at the final whistle.
I’ve supported Butler and still hope he stays but the only way he’ll save his job now is to look at the formation. If he cannot see that then no one can help him.
When AB was a player he showed absolutely no loyalty to the Iron by moving clubs despite being offered a similar contract.
Loyalty works both ways Andy, bye.
Just listened to Butlers interview its pathetic, hes in totally in denial of the current situation. Dont like sacking managers but now is the time. I suspect the board will give him a couple more matches to see if the new signings make a difference, although it wont not unless Butler changes his approach.
His final comment “Its not too far away from where we want to be” its a million miles from where everyone else wants to be.
Like it or lump it, it seems that an ultimatum to AB from the board is the only thing.
According to you
The board will obviously be most concerned about the monies lost by many fans staying away.
If this dreadful run is not stopped 64, the damage will not just be a problem this season but will run into next.
As you used to say,” Keith Houchen was right”
In another age, that was me.
“Cup run’s ended”
It never started!
