Well we’ve all seen butler’s stubbornness but how long are we going to put up with upstairs till they realise this guy is useless, can’t wait to hear from all his supporters, and don’t give me we are lucky to still have a club, there are a lot of other people over the years who have put plenty of money in.

Would it be possible to “terminate” Mr Butler’s contract and place Schofield in temporary charge, which would afford us the chance to play with a different formation?

If Schofield has a different system in mind and hasn’t shared that with Butler then he is a waste of space. If he has suggested it to Butler and has been ignored then he is an even bigger waste of space.

It rather depends on whether Butler is a bossy boss or a listening boss, I suppose.
It also depends on Schofield’s attitude when poor decisions have been made – and regularly defended!

The boards great work in saving the club, bringing back the feel good factor, actually playing some football and being entertained is being undone single handedly by Bulter.

The tide of goodwill that you could once surf on has diminished to such an extent it will barely wash away a trodden down sandcastle

Schofield is part of the problem and must go too.

Yes but I would imagine the manager always has the final say? You’d just like to think he’d listen to someone with more experience, otherwise what’s the point of employing him?

If he thinks so much about the club he should grow some balls and resign after these results!!!

Don’t think there’s any doubt that something’s amiss at the AA (GP). Disturbingly, this seems to stem from about the same time as the contract extension announcement for the 2 ‘managers’. I have seen NO evidence of what Schofield brings to the table other than an affable presence when interviewed. The softball questions from Moody week after week following losses have masked the fact that Butler has flaws which are not suitably examined in these clips. To descend from a team that conceded less than a handful of goals in their first 9 games to a team conceding 3 goals a game on a regular basis, and losing is evidence that the bonhomie and camaraderie that was abundant some weeks ago has disappeared and has been replaced by defenders who can’t defend, midfielders who can’t control midfield and strikers who have little or no service or are played in a position that’s unsuitable e.g. the ‘Chorley flyer’ – heralded as a free goal scoring winger, but when fit, ill-used and miscast. Fitzsimons. Roberts and Barrows apart then the rest need serious scrutiny.
