Lord Horatio.I hope it’s a carnival. We’ve endured the circus for too long

January 28, 2023 at 8:20 am #254125Always remembering of course that whatever the result of the game today, it is almost irrelevant to the wider picture, after what we’ve been through.

Topics: 80We are a redevelopment club now.
A five to ten year plan.
We will be relegated this season.
Consolidation next season.
Promotion back to the NLN at the end of season 2024-25.
Hopefully back to the EFL by the end of season 2029-30.1 user thanked author for this post.
January 28, 2023 at 9:13 am #254129One change from Wednesday I hope. I couldn’t work out what O’Malley’s role was and, per his interview, he wasn’t sure either. Gallimore surely a better bet for CM – square pegs?
January 28, 2023 at 12:55 pm #254137A win today would be a turning point, especially if the teams around us in the NL were to lose. As things stand relegation is by no means a certainty. I would love to see a couple of new players, but hey ho!
January 28, 2023 at 1:05 pm #254140And if we lose there’s always the next game.
January 28, 2023 at 5:46 pm #254164Still going for 1-1, IFA?
January 28, 2023 at 6:25 pm #254173Best first half I’ve seen all season, Wilson unplayable but must get his shots away, Taft after 1dodgy moment was awesome, just can’t understand how Daniel was never subbed, great atmosphere, did I see the east stand singing?.

January 28, 2023 at 6:43 pm #254181Was even some singing in the main stand; really enjoyable atmosphere and the DRE were in fine voice.
1st half was excellent, Butterfield was just levels above everyone on the pitch but it’s a shame his legs can’t keep it going for a full 90. If we have a recognised striker we win that game today.
Can’t fault the effort from everybody though, they are fighting for the badge at the moment.
January 28, 2023 at 7:05 pm #254182We could here the main stand Cass.
January 28, 2023 at 7:12 pm #254184Good game and excellent atmosphere.
Feeney was really strong when he came on. Like him a lot.
Their no 6 was quality. Lanky bastard as well.
If we keep playing like that, and convert a few more chances, we have an outside chance of staying up.
Enjoyed the day.

In behalf of all in the west stand I apologise for the noise and rowdyism, it was unacceptable. We need to have a word with one or two.😉

Enjoyed the day.Just shows how differently we see things. I agree with everything you say except I though the No6 was an absolute donkey!!!
January 28, 2023 at 8:31 pm #254204I am with you Cass the guy looked the part but was a donkey. Was delighted whenever he had the ball at the back because he gave it straight back to us virtually every time. Wilson frightened him to death with pace and control until they went to a 3 in the second half.
January 28, 2023 at 8:54 pm #254211What about Whitehouse on Wednesday and again today by the way. Can we delay the season for a month while the squad have a quick loan at Spennymoor?

Needs to be a liberal sprinkling of banning orders handed out. People around me kept getting woken up.
