Can’t see anything other than a defeat; Whatever little faith I have in Hill is evaporating game by game and still not got over the Capitulation at Solihull.

Disappointed not to see backline strengthened which will continue to leak goals until sorted.

I’m with you on this, as are most other fans. No problem scoring goals and we’re pretty strong in midfield. Only problem is we can’t keep them out and yet we go sign another CM.

Aldershot are drawing at Oldham which means we slip to 3rd bottom (in play).
Lose tomorrow and if both Yeovil & Halifax win at home – then we’ll be bottom.

Can’t see anything other then a defeat tomorrow. After throwing a 3 goal lead at home, morale must be rock bottom.

If it isn’t with the players, it certainly is with the supporters.

Anyone else struggling to get the BBC Radio Humberside commentary via the BBC Sounds app or website? All I’m getting is some shitty “Squad Goals” coverage!

For years, I have repeatedly gone on and on about the Iron taking crosses without any player coming in from beyond the far post to meet them.
If commentary was accurate – we had that situation just ONCE in the entire game, today – when the cross was ironically made to the near post!
Commentators described a a multitude of situations where there was no player coming in to meet the ball across the 6 yard box.
It’s not just KH – this has been the case with at least five out of five of our recent managers.
    WHY?

I thought throwing away a 3-0 lead was bad enough, but losing to a team with 10 men is a bigger low than last week, we do like to lose.

So that is eight consecutive away defeats, and thirteen defeats and one draw this year

I think last week was worse mick, although we are comparing war wounds.

Not surprised in the slightest by today and things are only going to get worse. We are still a number of players down and if we can’t afford them then it’s tough tomatoes- we are going down.

Even though he’s just a symptom, Hill can go now for me, bored of listening to his Holloway esque bullshit

Awful. Simply awful. I listened to the managers pre match interview on Hullberside and just couldn’t fathom the BS.

From Wednesday, we have a couple of days to make good the mentioned EFL signings at the closure of their transfer window – before our next Saturday game
Get this right with three trustworthy players in who can cover the areas of direst need and we can muddle through this season.
Fail to do this and it is hard to see any way back.

“No problem scoring goals and we’re pretty strong in midfield. Only problem is we can’t keep them out and yet we go sign another CM”.

To describe any part of this losing team as “pretty strong” is way off the mark. Far more wrong than the “only problem “.

Desperate for a central defender who is committed and able to pass the ball accurately for at least 10 yards.

Never thought that we could possibly get worse but been proved wrong our club is heading out of business no way back from this mess even if the management team is sacked!
Lower than a snakes belly tonight who would take over this mess as a manager or owner?
Glanford park will be housing or a supermarket in next two years and Scunthorpe United forgotten
If anyone is serious about taking over the club would you please get on with it

Les, I admire your optimism. We might get lucky and find one trustworthy player, but to expect three is sheer fantasy – we haven’t found that many in six seasons!!

Only problem is now is that we’ve started off so badly, what dependable players are even going to want to come ?

CB, LB, WIDE PLAYER AND 1 STRIKER is what we need.

Desperately need a CB though, Taft is shocking. LB is needed as well, even if we sign those two it will be better than nothing. One thing I don’t like about this team is that it doesn’t have much pace or mobility, we don’t get around the pitch well at all.

Beestin looks a shadow of what he used to be too.

How many bloody players do you lot want?, the club already has about28 players, the problem is that they are not good enough, and with Hill in charge, I would think that they are very unclear on what their job is.
Where are all the young guys that were supposed to be playing?, not many appear to be in liner for selection!!, according to the report, the young lad Wallace was the Scunny MOM in his first senior game, but will he start in Mondays game, I doubt it.

Do you thknk Grimsby could loan us some players? We should have gone for McKewan, hes a good keeper but now playing in Ireland.

Just think he will be on two gallon of Guinness a week plus expenses. Dream job.
