If the money was right I bet he could put up with a 3 month spell in the frozen north.

Suspect he will get some decent offers nearer to home though given his goalscoring record.

Seems strange to let him go and sign Loft, an age thing maybe but 32 isn’t old really, perhaps there was a clash between him and Barton, after all, Barton does have previous when it comes to being easy to get on with.

Joey Barton said he is down pecking order and loft ahead of him so pitman can go. Interestin comment in there paper regarding this, im no good at links etc but worth a read. Keith hill is interested according to bartons comments. As others have said more clubs will want him

Short term until future league decided. Could have an agreement for at least another year if things come good. Perhaps that is the same with Messrs Grant and Feeney.

Then you are part way there for next season. Not sure if their present clubs have options but Burns and Sinclair are contracted to June 2022. With the added recruits Keith is looking for you could be looking at the other end of the table provided they survive this one.

Even with the embargo of the number of players we can have isn’t the wages for 3 months going to be above limits, though I don’t care, it would be great have a good 3 months instead of hanging on like grim death like the last 3 previous seasons
