Has just had his contract mutually terminated……..
January 30, 2022 at 12:40 pm #230856Too cold up here, never been further north than Ipswich!
Remember Lee Hodges saying it was 10 degrees colder here when he came from London.January 30, 2022 at 12:48 pm #230857Suspect a lot of contracts cancelled this weekend. Going to be a lot of moves.
I think we need 4 more – 2 REAL CB’s and certainly at least 1 striker. Perhaps some need to be on gardening leave to make room, but do not understand why Hackney still here.
January 30, 2022 at 12:52 pm #230858I mentioned pitman as he is def a goalscorer wherever he has been. Hes the calibre of striker needed
January 30, 2022 at 1:27 pm #230860No argument with that McF, just can’t see him moving north now for what’s likely to be a short term deal.

January 30, 2022 at 1:42 pm #230861Any relation to Jenny and Mark?
Flashback of the Grand National that never was! 😂
January 30, 2022 at 1:43 pm #230862He won’t come here, he had a first hand look at us last Tuesday and that would put him off.
January 30, 2022 at 1:47 pm #230864Watch him sign for Hartlepool!

January 30, 2022 at 2:56 pm #230865Would be worth a short term contract certainly knows where the goal is.
January 30, 2022 at 3:11 pm #230866If the money was right I bet he could put up with a 3 month spell in the frozen north.
Suspect he will get some decent offers nearer to home though given his goalscoring record.

January 30, 2022 at 4:31 pm #230870Seems strange to let him go and sign Loft, an age thing maybe but 32 isn’t old really, perhaps there was a clash between him and Barton, after all, Barton does have previous when it comes to being easy to get on with.
January 30, 2022 at 4:44 pm #230871Joey Barton said he is down pecking order and loft ahead of him so pitman can go. Interestin comment in there paper regarding this, im no good at links etc but worth a read. Keith hill is interested according to bartons comments. As others have said more clubs will want him
January 30, 2022 at 4:48 pm #230872Short term until future league decided. Could have an agreement for at least another year if things come good. Perhaps that is the same with Messrs Grant and Feeney.
Then you are part way there for next season. Not sure if their present clubs have options but Burns and Sinclair are contracted to June 2022. With the added recruits Keith is looking for you could be looking at the other end of the table provided they survive this one.
January 30, 2022 at 5:00 pm #230873Even with the embargo of the number of players we can have isn’t the wages for 3 months going to be above limits, though I don’t care, it would be great have a good 3 months instead of hanging on like grim death like the last 3 previous seasons
January 30, 2022 at 5:36 pm #230874Mason Greenwood anyone?
January 30, 2022 at 6:08 pm #230883Mason Greenwood anyone?
Innocent till proven guilty of course Awaywego but if found guilty, what a complete twat.
January 30, 2022 at 6:41 pm #230890Of course Ironawe, Ched Evans was found innocent after all.
January 30, 2022 at 7:26 pm #230895Reckon if Pitman had any interest in coming here, surely something would’ve been sorted when Loft went there??
January 30, 2022 at 7:33 pm #230898What and not get a transfer fee for Loft. I never imagined we’d ever get anything for him.
