uptheiron69 and Awaywego, I assume that you are the same person, because you both post exactly the same stuff all the time, how can you be possibly gloating after we have finished 22nd out of 24 teams in the bottom division ?????. The club have run up a debt of £11 million pounds and lost all of its best players, on top of that Scunthorpe have WON just ONE match in their last EIGHTEEN matches, and you are stating that Swanny and Cox should be congratulated by the remaining supporters, and what do you mwan by your statement, that “I should now bow out, is that a racist remark because of my age???. Time for you to wake up boy, and stop your 100% management arse licking.

May 1, 2021 at 11:57 pm #206110You only have to listen to some of Cox interviews throughout the season to understand what I am talking about.
After you’ve answered Deerey’s question, please can you explain the above?
Thank you.

May 2, 2021 at 8:45 am #206114What will acting like spoilt brats achieve CT?
Grow up and support the team you claim to follow.
I’ll say it one more time you reap what you sow. People like you think they’re blameless when in fact they are very much part of the problem.
‘Reap what you sow’ should be nailed to the boardroom wall. It’s been so true these past seasons.
But with the complacency and arrogance on display here, there’s no reason to suggest 21/22 will be any different.1 user thanked author for this post.
May 2, 2021 at 8:52 am #206116Next season with the current management, inept oversized squad, and deluded chairman we are nailed on certainties for relegation.
Time to wake up SUFC before it is to late or is the damage already too deep.??1 user thanked author for this post.
May 2, 2021 at 9:15 am #206117BS it was a polite way of saying about time you popped your clogs while were still a lge team, but it was a joke and I honestly wish you many more seasons, can’t say I’m gloating either from what you and many others have said the season as been horrendous like the last 2, but I have been watching football long enough to know that more than likely we will be better next year. Didn’t want Cox as manager but fully support him having another one, don’t give a shite who’s chairman it’s a thankless job.

A bold statement indeed.
Bet you thought things would get better after Brexit.
UTI99 must be having a long lie-in this Bank Holiday Sunday. Not had an answer to any of those questions yet.
May 2, 2021 at 11:09 am #206126Told you before NI I voted to stay in,though Brexit is not going to bad especially on the jab front time will tell. It was you who pointed out from where Morecambe came from the past few seasons to where they are now, so expect us to do the same it’s pretty normal in football.

And the Vote Leave government is now delivering one of the worst Covid death rate & one of the deepest recessions in the world.Where do you get your info from, AWG?
May 2, 2021 at 1:26 pm #206137Well I hope we can do what Morecambe have done this season, I’ll give you that.
But is this what it’s come to, looking on in envy at Morecambe?
Bright-eyed optimism is all well and good but we need action over the next three months to make sure we don’t have a fourth season of anguish. If ownership and management are to stay in place I expect a BIG improvement in what they can serve up.
Have they learned from the last three seasons? I won’t hold my breath.

May 3, 2021 at 6:56 pm #206229What will be negative and pessimistic achieve?
Next season is a whole different ball game.I asked:- “Other than that we’re still in the FL give us something to be positive about so that we can all be as optimistic and happy as you are.”
Deereyme66 asked:- “What will being optimistic achieve? Give me something to be optimistic about and I might be.”
Any chance you have answers or is it time for you to disappear again?
In a way he is correct. Because if we don’t do better this season then we might well never see The Iron in the football league again. There was only two worse teams this season, and they are gone. So we definitely need to get better or next season will be our Swan Song (pun intended).
May 3, 2021 at 7:57 pm #206233I did mean next season. 😝
