Don’t wish to appear pedantic but couldn’t you have used the thread which already exists?

Possibly – but, let’s ‘pretend’ one is a thread about cars in general and that this one is specifically about the Ford Capri.

Brackley don’t get big crowds and it’s a fair treck. Most that have the inclination are likely to wait and travel for the much more important league game 2 weeks later.

Also season ticket holders have to fork out £14-20 for an FA Cup qualifying game. Many won’t bother.

The negativity surrounding this weeks revelations certainly won’t help.

I think Cliff is probably a bit optimistic. I think we will be shy of 2000.

Going for a late Swann era attendance of 1900.

Looking at Brackley’s fairly small squad they don’t have much option to rest first teamers whilst Jimmy will be able to rest 8 or 9. He probably should as well given the limited opportunities to give them game time.

2-1 Brackley. We will reverse that scoreline with Scales joining the rest of the first team 2 weeks later – if we are still in business by then.

If you view some views from outside Bru you’d think half the town would be turning up anticipating some sort of Swann exorcism conducted by DH parachuting on to the pitch shouting ‘loads a money!!!’

Good point re the attendance ..my prediction may have been a tad optimistic.

Im also predicting DH will chuck in the towel and resign Sunday after the FA game is over .. just a feeling ive got in my watter.

Only 1800 scunny fans against the local derby game against Donny last time we were at home in the face cup, anything near 2000 would be very good.

My turf accountant is only offering the following at the moment for tomorrow’s game:

    Scunny 10/11
    Brackley 5/2
    Draw 23/10

Obviously want an Iron win but there’s so much excrement around at the moment that a score on Brackley to return £70 may be the wise choice?

How many members are there of the crazy Facebook group ? I don’t want to attend this match if there is a huge pro Hilton thing going on.

    5,900 last count.

Someone is putting off a Hospital appointment to support the owner. Apparently

It was Bill Burton .. lasses were Rachel n Joanne ..pub was The Mowbray , nowt wrong with my memory after all.

who really gives a shit about the FA cup with SUFC currently in the 6th tier and heading for oblivion.

Ticket sales appear to be pretty dire for the game today.
