Population: 16,195 – 2021 Census.
The Saints are marching in on Tuesday and it’ll be a difficult evening for Stan’s team.
Yesterday’s victory at Curzon was their third away game on the spin and secured them the maximum.
Oxford (A) 2-0
Alfreton (A) 4-3
Curzon (A) 1-09 points available – 9 points secured.
They won’t fear GP and will be looking to put us to the sword.
Apparently, they play 5 at the back. If Stan mirrors their set up, then we’ll be in serious trouble.
Scunthorpe (H) P12 W5 D6 L1 GF23 GA7 GD+16 Pts21
Brackley (A) P13 W8 D3 L2 GF20 GA10 GD+10 Pts27
Formation, frustration, indecision,
errors – you can see what’s coming. They sit higher than us in the 4, 6, 8 & 10 games form tables.
They sit top of the 4 game table with 12 points and a +5 GD.
We are 6th with 7pts and +3 GDOver the last 10 games, they sit in 2nd place with 22pts and +7 GD.
We are 8th with 16pts and +5 GD.January 19, 2025 at 7:13 am #297375They had a good FA Cup run, reaching the 2nd Round.
A contentious ’offside’ kept the score at 2-1 to Stockport before the EFL team extended the margin to 3-1 in the 86th minute.January 19, 2025 at 7:26 am #297377They had a good cup run and are doing well in the league? I thought you were only allowed one?

January 19, 2025 at 9:23 am #297386overslept and ended up watching MOTD – interesting comment my a pundit about Liverpool, who are dominating the premier league, (same way we hoped we would NLN!!?).
“Liverpool risk losing in trying to win”
Something perhaps AB should consider? We may avoid all these dull home draws. But then every game we face is difficult one against well organised teams. No doubt a battling draw with in form Brackley he’ll be happy with as we slip further down the table.January 19, 2025 at 9:46 am #297387Pretty sure I heard on the radio yesterday that Potter had set up West Ham with 5 at the back. That ended well.

They play with an intensity and move the ball & themselves well.

January 20, 2025 at 10:37 am #297537thanks for the in depth analysis Rene … not that it effected my prediction of 2-1 to Brackley who on fire at the moment especially away adding that to our mediocre home home form and bingo.
January 20, 2025 at 12:51 pm #2975513/1 seems a great price for an away win.
I’ll stick my guess as to the result & score later.
January 20, 2025 at 1:57 pm #297555Apparently:
1-0 has the highest probability @ 13%
1-1 has the second highest @ 12.5%We’ve played each other five times and it’s 2 wins, a draw and 2 defeats to date.
Is a 1-1 on the cards?
They’ve won 56% of their league games this season.
We’ve won 46% of our league games. The teams are very, very evenly matched.
I think I’ll have to go with 3 predictions.
Head 1-1
Gut 1-2 (their cracking away form at present)
Heart 1-0Att: 3,647
