Minus 1 predicted overnight but flipping positive from 10am.
You’d guess that the game will go ahead.A performance matching the KLT first half and I’m going with 2-0
Revert to negative tactics and I’ll go 0-1
January 3, 2025 at 7:05 am #296555if its on
A must stiffer test than KLT
prediction 1-1
Att 4,222January 3, 2025 at 7:35 am #296556Cold one in the south of the county but not expecting snow

January 3, 2025 at 8:37 am #296565Leave formation alone and keep building on the stability and comfort for the players in that 433 system and we will be ok.
Get clever and go for a 3 or 5 back line can only see trouble. It means we are setting up to cope with them and not the reverse.

January 3, 2025 at 9:23 am #296566Why would you set up negatively against Brackley after defeating Kings Lynn with a positive attacking performance? We beat these 3-0 away on the opening day of the season so why not go out and do the same at home, just go out and win your home games and stop pratting about trying to do something else FFS.

January 3, 2025 at 10:03 am #296567I hope the club manage to get the game on. After a positive result the other day, the last thing we need is to lose momentum and lose a Saturday attendance. It would be good to get an update from them today regarding their expectations.
Hopefully they cover the pitch later?

We’ve been saying “why?” A lot this season!

Well it’s barely got above 3 degrees all day and it’s the same forecast tomorrow, would have been a cold watch if it had gone on, can’t say I’m too fussed. Bet Stu is pleased gives the situation a bit more time to calm down before he ventures out to the AA for the next home game.
January 3, 2025 at 4:28 pm #296604Aye, frozen sand won’t be the best surface to play on!
January 3, 2025 at 4:43 pm #296605Game off!!
I thought that the covers were supposed to be good down to minus six degrees and have even worked down to minus ten at other clubs.
It wasn’t that cold last night was it?
I understand that there are different quality of covers with varying degrees of protection – minus 4, minus 6 and minus 8 seem to be the most common.January 3, 2025 at 4:45 pm #296607Saddened but not surprised , maybe SUFC wanted it called off as the pitch is in such a state ??
January 3, 2025 at 4:50 pm #296609Needham, Scunny & Shields are off so far.
No NLS games postponed yet – and they are supposed to be getting the worst of the weather.January 3, 2025 at 4:57 pm #296610For once I am pleased, was going to miss tomorrow with illness, had this virus since Christmas Eve, but thought I was over and went to the match against Kings Lynn, but have got it again, but they have done the right thing because of the risk of injury
January 3, 2025 at 6:46 pm #296617More likely the club knowing we haven’t won a Saturday game at home since Aug17th and left the covers off on purpose.
January 3, 2025 at 6:57 pm #296618A Mrs Coles on tuther side is non to pleased the game is off. Lol.
January 3, 2025 at 9:03 pm #296621Nothing unexpected from a part time pub team/league I guess
