“World Beating”
“Oven Ready”
& now
“Moonshot”
Can’t wait for the next instalment!
September 10, 2020 at 2:39 pm #194520Yes, it’s quite a lexicon, isn’t it, fun for all the family… I thought the tunes were going to be good but we’ve only had ‘happy birthday’ so far.
I particularly enjoy being infantilised as I watch the carnage unfold in the care homes, businesses go to the wall, nurses and doctors dying in the front line…. as this engorged oaf and his psychopathic sidekick plagiarise more and more lessons from the Trump playbook.
September 10, 2020 at 5:12 pm #194525Those stalwarts of democracy have gone rather silent now that Johnson has pushed to renegade on a deal which was voted through parliament and campaigned on during a general election. It seems those Brexiters who were so concerned about remainers ‘sabotaging democracy’ only care about democracy when it can frame them in a good light, and sod it when they can push through what they want.
September 10, 2020 at 9:25 pm #194530Aye, where are they now, those on here who were fulsomely in praise of withdrawal, Johnson and Trump…? Where are propaganda merchants like the jonnies and co, and the Tory party mouthpiece?
Answer: They’ve run away, or they steal around the board, hiding their shame under an old but scarcely used screen-name – the digital version of the full burkha.
Shame on the lot of them.
September 11, 2020 at 9:14 am #194535Beat me to it – was just thinking the same thing listening to the latest installment of shame on Today. Where are they all now when literally every thing the Tories touch turns to s***? It’s like having a school mate who keeps daring you to take more and more risks despite it being ridiculously stupid and then disappearing when the s*** hits the fan.
September 11, 2020 at 1:31 pm #194555There should be a reasonable expectation that Boris and his Government are acting in the best interests of the public. We all know this is not the case. This Government is corrupt and they and their friends are making millions whatever the outcome of Brexit and the pandemic.
September 11, 2020 at 1:37 pm #194556I doubt whether Boris and Cummings will last the 5 year term. But it won’t be a problem for either of them, they will have achieved the damage and chaos they have always been planning for this country.
We know Boris is driven by his ambition. He was born in New York. Can the US public be conned again to vote for a blond haired buffoon? Will he be looking to do the double?
September 11, 2020 at 3:16 pm #194558He sure will.
One of several things they both have in common is their supporters. They’re susceptible to sloganeering, and are easily conned. Remember when people used to say ‘I like Boris, he’s funny!’. Who’s laughing now??
This should be reflected in the last night of the Proms with a rousing chorus of ‘Fool Britannia’.
September 11, 2020 at 5:45 pm #194562they will have achieved the damage and chaos they have always been planning for this country.
Not sure about this. In fact I don’t think Bojo could plan a picnic!
The damage and chaos he has inflicted is akin to putting an eight year-old behind the wheel of a car. And really that’s all he is; a man-child who thinks he can do the same as an adult. But he can’t, as the senior Tories at Westminster are now telling him.
And like the spoilt child he is, he has to have he own way. He’s the school bully who wants not only his pocket money but yours too.
A cartoon character with cartoon slogans!
September 12, 2020 at 7:13 pm #194617The problem is that silly slogans & xenophobic gaslighting can change voters’ minds, but not the reality.
