Is Vanilla Soughgate Wilcox or Cox in disguise?
I’ve never, ever seen so many tippy-tappy sideways and backwards passes in our own half from any other supposedly top rated side. Boring doesn’t start to describe it.
I’ll say it again: we will never win anything with Vanilla Southgate in charge.
He’s squandering our best chance to win something since 1966.😥
I’d settle for a Cox side drawing after going a goal down.
I’d also settle for drawing a home game after a 5-0 away victory.
And I’d definitely settle for being three points ahead at the top of the table.
All fast-fading dreams I’m afraid.
Yeah, England are terrible, they haven’t reach a final in nearly FOUR MONTHS. Disgraceful.
Southgate’s a great man manager. Not so great a tactician.

How long since we won owt?
Remind me what France have won,( similar population, weaker top division)?
Still not having it with the Cox comparison.
If you’re going to compare Scunny with a National Team surely it has to be San Marino.
It’s a work in progress and most sensible minded people realise that, the fact we have reached a World Cup semi final for the first time in 28 years and a Euro Final for the first time ever, both in the last 3 years speaks volumes. Hungary played well last night and worked incredibly hard over 90 minutes to achieve a good result, we should give some credit and be more realistic. We won’t win every game just because we are England as won’t France, Brazil etc etc.
When Brazil won in 2002 they just scraped through qualifying. Historically England have smashed qualifying and failed at tournaments, while France, Germany and Italy don’t do as well in qualifying, but better in tournaments.
That said, we have a good squad at present and I think Southgate could get more out of them. Plus, he makes tactical errors and doesn’t seem to learn from them.
This isn’t a call for firing or anything close, just an honest assessment. I like Southgate, he is likeable as a person and is evidently a great man manager. I have never seen an England side as unified as this, and Southgate has a large role in that, I think. He is the best manager we have had in a long while and I hope we progress as our young squad ages.
I just find his strategies and in game management baffling at times.
Useless Southgate .Like the disapproval with the crowd and the pundits on ITV why did he take Grealish off after an hour, the one player who caused problems
Mason Mount?
