Scunny banker then we often stop teams runs, the last few years all in the wrong way I’m afraid.

Nailed on home win, we always excel against 10 men. 🙄😂

Does it really make any difference what a teams record is regarding who Scunny are actually playing next, simply because they manage to lose against any team, no matter if they are a top team, or sitting at the bottom of the League, there is no real need to go into details regarding that issue.

We nearly know what is coming, five at the back, two up front playing apart from each other, cannot defebd set pieces, never keep a clean sheet, and very rarely get men in the other teams area, then let in a simple tap in at the far post, or a usual 25 yarder, but still 2,000 fans that are still willing to attend GP, and still even 200 soft enough to spend £80 to go on a 400 mile trip down south for another annoying day out.

Plus, it will be interesting to see if there’s a change in attitude from the players and an energy we’ve not seen so far from them this season.

Boreham Wood are the away team.
They have a 100% away record.
    A very hard, difficult fixture.

Every game appears to be a very hard difficult fixture, so this should be another of a long list Renee.

Nailed on Scunthorpe win, players played in their correct positions, simple 442 formation and clear, concise instruction from the Management. Couple this with a complacent Boreham Wood side expecting to be dealing out a spanking and its a perfect storm for 3 home points.

But if there is, doesn’t that raise questions of honesty?

Not necessarily, perhaps questions around coaching and training? Being unmotivated and playing with long faces could be down to not knowing what they’re supposed to be doing and having little respect for the manager. You could argue they’re being honest to themselves as players, should that be the case. We shall see if there’s a change on Saturday anyway.

If Dawsy & Muzzy are given free reign to select the team, then the starting eleven might surprise?

Not 8 kids again I hope, we tried that.
(Or were you hinting they might pick themselves?)

    We’ll find out Saturday.

Apart from sorting out the left back position I believe the current squad is good enough to grind out some results and stay up comfortably. Hoping the interim guys sort it out and get the best out of the players and create the spirit any team needs to succeed. I’m mildly optimistic.

We have got too many LBs (7 have played there I think) it’s satisfactory, real, fit LBs that we’re short of.

O’malley you can’t really count as a FB and young Lewis is similar as he’s really a winger. We have Daniel and perma crock Nthle !

I must admit I questioned the amount of LB’s to start with but look who’s left who are actually viable options.

Talking of Boreham Wood I saw them play at my home town club Worksop Town a few years ago and saw the worst supporters behaviour I have seen at a football match, in a crowd of around 2000 they had to send for loads of Police to come from Sheffield to sort the drunken behaviour of the away fans, and I have heard they still aren’t Angels but not as bad nowadays.

The players looked as if they only wanted to play for Hill, when they had the chance – they didn’t!!
