Guessing ‘Boring Wood’ are in for a kick up the backside before Saturdays game!
Lets hope they don’t respond :) UTIFebruary 22, 2023 at 11:20 pm #256015Makes you wonder what he is going to say to them after Saturdays defeat !!!
February 23, 2023 at 2:09 am #256018The next two fixtures are massive … tough game at BW followed by Maidstone which is huge for the obvious reasons, praying for back to back wins which change everything and not an impossibility the way we are playing, 4 points from the 6 would be ok so long as we beat Maidstone.
Prediction 4pts
1-1 at BW
1-2 at MaidstoneFebruary 23, 2023 at 6:26 am #256020Had we managed to nick a point at Wrexham I would agree 4 points from the next two would be ok, but for me 6 points from these games is a must now.
February 23, 2023 at 8:01 am #256022Boreham is good in defend, 30 goals concede in 31 match.
Need to score at least 1 goal to avoid defeat.
Win 1-0 is success for Jimmy.February 23, 2023 at 8:27 am #256023Anonymous

Two draws? The last back to back win in the league was:
Jan 29, 2021 at 7.15pm
Colchester 0-1 ScunthorpeFeb 20, 2021 at 3pm
Scunthorpe 3-1 HarrogateCome Saturday, that’s 735 days without a back to back win
Hope Jimbob Deano can change that
lay the ghost to rest

I’ll go with the draw.
February 24, 2023 at 9:40 pm #256133I don’t believe Draws are good enough now unfortunately. If we are serious about staying up then we need to start putting back-back wins together.
Go out there and aim for 3 points.
Chapman
Ogle
Everton
Boyce
LeakePugh
BunkerWilson
Butterfield
Beestin/FerrisGerry

Agree with all that .. wouldnt start with Ferris tho
What are the members thoughts on Elliot since he came in ? i think once he gets off the mark he will start to net a few.
im sticking with my 1-1 prediction
February 25, 2023 at 7:42 am #256139I like the look of Elliott…. And agree when he gets his first more will follow, I’d like to see the big man / little man front 2 but don’t think today’s game likes 442 or similar
February 25, 2023 at 7:48 am #256140yes i think Elliot n Mcdonagh may work out well … shame that Elliot cannot play today v BW due to the transfer agreement previously playing for them.
February 25, 2023 at 10:24 am #256143Do we think Daniel will get a run out up front then?
February 25, 2023 at 11:10 am #256146No, bound to be a lone Gerry I reckon. Jimmy was pleased with the performance against Wrexham so I’m expecting minimal changes to that set up.
February 25, 2023 at 2:36 pm #256148I see Shields has made the bench today, does this mean the ” why are we not told about Shields absence”” brigade will have to come up with some other new conspiracy theory
February 25, 2023 at 2:45 pm #256150Pretty much as expected
Foster not in the subs as well.. seems more managers are going with just the one starting keeper nowadays, if Chapman gets injured or an emergency nappy needs changing who is our back up keeper ?
Like to see Shields get some game time in.
February 25, 2023 at 2:45 pm #256151Looks like he’s preferred to DSF in the absence of Elliott and no keeper. Could be out again next week, puts Fewster well down the list.

February 25, 2023 at 5:22 pm #256167Defence – dreadful
Midfield – awful
Attack – non existant
What happened? I think the Boreham Wood commentater was the only one that thought we were in the game.
Shocking, clueless performance – lucky we weren’t at home and had to pick a MOM!!February 25, 2023 at 6:33 pm #256169Can’t disagree with that Cass, really poor from everyone.
Manager seems to have read it the same as supporters which is reassuring, he needs a response from them on tuesday.
February 25, 2023 at 7:02 pm #256172Jimbob deaono is a cockernee pub landlord who could non run a cockernee pub team – DOOMED I TELL YEE.
February 25, 2023 at 7:03 pm #256173The only good thing about today is Oldham won’t be joining us in Nln next season.

Jimbob Deano is unproven at this (lowly) level.
February 25, 2023 at 8:25 pm #256181Agree with Cliff about Jimmy’s post match comments.
First time in years I have watched an Iron defeat and I am certain the manager was at the same game as me.
February 25, 2023 at 8:46 pm #256182Jimbob couldn’t ‘iron’ his own shirt, we’ll see but this looks like a car crash waiting to happen
February 26, 2023 at 1:46 am #256187Well that didnt go to plan did it .. terrible performance in every department.
The 300 plus Spartans that traveled should get a refund.
doomed .. wer doomed

We salute them. Legends!
February 26, 2023 at 10:15 am #256204Just downloaded the “”highlights”” from BW yesterday i think they were in the wrong category as should of been in the horror section… they did show Scunny only really bothered their keeper twice in 90 mins and Gerry missed a sitter that i could ov scored…
The most telling action was the BW second nail .. its hard to tell who was at fault the most Chappo Boyce or Ogle it really was a catastrophe seen once before when i played in goal for Cemsave United playing at App Frod fortunately my goalie career didnt last long as i broke my arm early on in the season and retired.March 14, 2023 at 11:25 am #257311Anonymous
