Great betting odds, 11/4 for a team that’s won 4 on the bounce.

Only two draws for us all season. Got a feeling this could be number 3!

I would be happy with a draw, and we have a few ex Bolton players here and Cox also played for them.

We’ve already won more games this season than we did last having played 10 games less! I know last season was pretty rubbish but that isn’t bad going considering the squad was probably a lot stronger.

0-0 or 1-0 either way. No doubt we will make it awkward for them and push them all the way. Manny a major doubt so Bedeau expected to step in with McGahey returning to the bench after 6 weeks out.

Hope we continue with the forward passing, 2 striker attitude. We have a chance if we do.

But if the tactician within the management team gets above their station could see problems. As usual we need to be US from kick off to final whistle and make the opponents adapt to what we do.

Agree 100%. I fear the management will see this as a tough game and go back to the “looking for a point” set up. Hope I’m wrong! I think it’s a winnable game if we set up to win it.

I’d like to see more balls put in behind defences for Loft to run on to…he’s lightning quick for his size! Bolton were a tidy team when they came here but we’ve improved massively since then so I’m hoping for at least a draw.

0-0 with Cox opting for safety against a team he has IMO too much respect for. I feel if he goes for it the game is winnable but I can’t see him thinking that and if we get a point away then I guess he will be justified.

We don’t want to spend too much time defending if Manny is out!

Agree NI. Onariase looks top drawer at this level and has been the outstanding performer during our recent good run.

Time for McGahey to return or for Bedeau to step up and deliver on his undoubted ppotential.

There’s also the option of playing Rowe & Clarke at FB/CB, both have done it before. The option NOT to consider (please) is 3 CBs.

It’s not so much starting with 3 CBs, it’s if you are losing and you persist as the game progresses and you don’t alter to try to get back into the game, especially if you have players on the bench who can change it.

If Onarisie isn’t fit I’d put Bedeau straight in, possibly look to include Spence for one the 2 CM as rotation is key with a packed schedule.

Be more than a happy with a point tonight , but it would be good to see the team play with more freedom. The results have greatly improved so let’s see some positive performances to match

It’s not the BBC it’s a commercial station it seems. Strange it’s not something I’ve seen before but never listen to away commentary. I always assumed it was all done by local BBC stations. They were playing adverts beforehand.

Agree the quality is awful but that goes for all commercial radio.

Also matches our first half performance well. Think it was a harsh penalty foot was nowhere near as high as the ref was indicating and not sure there was a lot of contact but we deserve to be behind.

Has anyone looked specifically at penalties for and against us this season?
How many dubious ones have we had? – How many dubious ones to the opposition?

My gut feeling is that there is a huge imbalance and to our significant detriment.

I don’t remember the last time we had a pen even?

We seem to get plenty of dubious refs.

We’ve had one penalty against Harrogate, but conceded around 9 or 10.

Never heard such an awful, one sided, biased and amateurish commentary in my life. Yes Bolton are having the vast majority of possession, but what are they doing with it? And the penalty ???!!!! Makes you realise just how spoilt we are with BBC Humberside commentary and impartial analysis. Why can’t Humbs provide commentary remotely? It’s not difficult given the available technology.

Getting ready for another half of hospital radio birthday wishes and sheer unabridged b**ll**ks commentary !

Need to stop defending so narrow and allowing those wide players possession. Gillead and Green don’t know whether they are wing backs or wingers at the minute.

Cox and musselwhite having a right go at the ref at half time and I don’t blame them! have had some shocking referee’s and decisions against us but that was the worst referee ever.
totally one sided and he must still think Bolton are a premier league club, big club little club syndrome.

trying to figure out who is more biased to Bolton the commentators or the ref. It’s a tricky one – both clearly want Bolton to win the game

Well, another cheetingpenalty against us by the cheeting twat of a player, and another ref that had been a homer during the full first half, he gave Bolton ecerything he possibly could do. We had been outplayed during that first half. but would still have been lecel if iy had not been for that sickener.

Three changes at half time made a big improvement, and we held our own and probably shaded the second half, I cannot understand why Howard did not deal with the cross that they got the penalty off, it just went in front of im whikst he siood rooted to his bloody line as usual.

HOWARD—5—Not a lot to do really, but should have cut out their 1st goal.
ROWE—6—Did ok and could hve stayed on for the 2nd half.
BEDEAU–5–We missed Orariase in the centre of defence.
TAFT–7—Had a good game and worked hard.
BROWN—5—Nothing special tonight, half time sub was about right.
KARACAN—5—Not very good today, not involved enough, matbe injured?.
GREEN—4—Never really involved, had a poor game.
BEESTIN—6– Hot and cold, caught in posession a time or two.
GILLIEAD—9—MOM, easy to select, our only danger during 1st half.
EISA—3—Never beat his man once, no usual runs, and did nothing all game.
LOFT—6—Worked very hard, but with Eisa and Green up front he had no chance.

KVV—8—Played very well and good to see him back playing.
O’MALLEY—6—Played ok, and should be starting games.
McGAHEY–Also glad to see him back, and hope to pair him with Oraniase when fit.
    CLARKE & SPENCE—6—OK

REF—3—Bloody terrible, and a cheet, spoiled the game along with those two tossers the were comentating on I-FOLLOWER.

cox—6—c OULD NOT DO MUCH MORE REALLY EXCEPT REPLACE eISA AT HALF TIME.

Did not turn up during the firsthalf, but still should have gone in 0-0, but we still do not seem to want to attack teams and are too bloody defensive.

Shocking ref, even worse commentary, but we didn’t really deserve anything from the game.
