Absolutely flabbergasted that a fellow bru poster could call fellow supporters “idiots” for having the audacity to show their displeasure at the way Ernest Pawn has/is running our club.
Many of those suppprters bought into the many false promises set out by Ernest, their crime presumably to be no longer guliable and be be as disgusted at the ‘ground rob’ as the non-believers in Ernest the Messiah.
Maybe UTI-99 thinks the same about the many supporters who silently chant each week with their feet. The only real area of any growth under the Pawn years.
The ‘wakey wakey’ post was penned to point out the reality of our clubs situation, ‘a king is in the altogether’ cry to make us all realise the dire situation we are in and hopefully prompt change.
The posters on that thread were first class writing both truth and reality except for one! Who even chose to issue threats.
Just when you thought you could not polish a Turd one floats to the top.
August 26, 2021 at 10:12 pm #212661Worst thing Wharton ever did was to hand this club over to Swann right under Dennis Hobson’s nose. Ran the club irresponsibly spending money we clearly couldn’t afford to spend and then takes the ground and surrounding land away from the community to cover HIS irresponsible spending.
Complete disaster. I’d rather he handed the club over to somebody else, maybe a consortium, gave us the ground and surrounding land back and pissed off.
Swann’s a stain on this club. I can’t stand him for what he’s done and not many other people like him either.
Best thing he could do is put the club out there to somebody else, gave the club it’s assets back and drive far into the sunset to concentrate on his Blackpool hotel and his beloved horses.
Telling you now it will be a matter of time before more and more fans stick it to him. People already shouting for him to give us our club back.
No doubt he came here with good intentions but the club’s in deep shit in terms of debt, low in the league, fell out with numerous managers, stupidly thought he was a footballing genius and signed complete crap along with the rest of the super transfer committee.
Cherry on the top he then takes the ground and the surround land to cover his own stupid fecking spending.
Get gone you incompetent turd.

It will only be a matter of time until you turn on another owner, chairman, manager, player.
Fickle as…
August 27, 2021 at 12:09 am #212669Oh I will be there alright.
I once vowed that no Chairman, manager or set of players would ever break my resolve or undying love and loyalty to my club.
Unlike some my word is my bond and a matter of honour.
Trust me all three elements have been testing me for several seasons. But I am a stubborn bastard.
In making that vow I never said I would stand by and watch idly as my club is wronged now, in the future or the past.
And I am not!

So that includes the 860 who were at Tuesday night’s game does it?
I’d say they were the real supporters, not “fickle customers”.
The fact that these dyed in the wool Iron fans decided it was time to chant “we want our club back!” would suggest the complete opposite to what you are saying.

August 30, 2021 at 4:24 am #212861Maybe UTI-99 can enlighten us all on how the delay to the hotel aspect of the Sands Venue Blackpool is impacting on the development at Glanford Park.
Only the Wild West Diner and Spy themed bar are open as yet to the public with reports that it will be another year before the rather impressive 5 star venue is opened.
PS tee’d somebody up for cowboy and bond baddie references!
