Well done Rene, Whitehall man of the match for me, to be fair they all played well and obviously Wilson should have squared the ball but heho 6 again, now I want a proper performance at Boston not something I’ve not seen away this season, well maybe Alfreton were we shot ourselves in the foot, evidently still tickets left for Tuesday but they should soon go after the last 2 games.

Whitehall man of the match! Heard it all now, well he scored two goals, one a pen and fell over a lot moaning but never MOTM for me, Denton my MOTM.

Last 15 minutes Whitehall started to link up play and hold the ball up and looked a different player in doing so. Hope Dean can show him the last 15 mins and demonstrate what an effective player he can be.

Smith MOTM for me, really impressed in his last 2 showings.

Be surprised if we play a worst side than B.Stortford today- they look dead and buried. Perfect response from the Chester game though, Credit to Dean and the players

A lot of good performances today, won’t argue with Denton but wouldn’t have been surprised if Whitehall had won it, he put a good shift in.

Smith MOM for me. I thought he was sensational again and looks way above this level. Denton was superb though and thought Jenkins filled in for Clunan really well.

It was a bit more scrappy than Tuesday. I reckon that with Clunan in – we really would have made double figures.
Interesting to know what the prior agreed fee for Smith is should we want to keep him.

I was a bit nervy when I saw Clunan was out, but Jenkins had a good game. They all did. Just a cut above Bishop’s Stortford.

£150k quoted at time of signing. Unlikely in our position, but, anyway, would he play when Clunan, Beestin and Roberts fit?

You sure ?. Why would we have agreed a fee of that amount as an option to buy, as we never would have had it !. Hilton was the chairman though so I could imagine him thinking agreeing that optional fee was plausible.

    50k seems more realistic.

Has the look to me of scoring forward in the longer term.
After Alfreton – I have raved on about his talents ever since.
He will be a mighty asset. MUST keep!

I think that he may well be a Jamie Forrester type – only with more ball skills.

Agreed! I’d keep and play him alongside Whitehall.

That means Carver can go to Southport on a permanent and we can afford to lose Elliott or Bennett.

Once we get Beestin and Roberts fit you could argue that we could manage without either.

The only cautionary note about Beestin and Roberts with their fitness track records would be, once we get them fit, can we keep them fit? Not an easy one to answer.

Yeah that’s it, he starts playing on the wing and starts scoring goals and you want to put him up top with Whitehall whilst also changing the shape we play, just leave it as it is!
