Not feeling very confident with biscuit hands between the sticks
You are not on your own.
Get Murphy signed up, he said he’ll come back on whatever wage
38? – Fine.
He’s far better then Watson at 38. Watson is shocking
Another wafer thin rocky performance v Cambridge with more than a trio of mistakes. Maybe he needs to take timeout.
Making it harder each week to digest(ive), time for us and Rory to breakaway, and for him to find another club.
It might not be very nice but we would be cream crackers to persist with Rory.
Joe Murphy… not played much football in past seasons.
I’d go Ben Alnwick personally. Last 2 season he’s played nearly 30 games in the championship and is only 33yrs old.
Played 87 games in last 4 seasons so least he’s been somewhat active. Last 2 seasons, Murphy has only played 4 games and is 38 yrs old…not far off 39. I’m for experience but when you get somebody of that age who hasn’t had game time, it’s a bit suspect even for my liking.
Murph is at tranmere anyway was on the bench against us last week.
If he was available, 38 and 4 games in the last 2 years is still preferable over what weve got now.
We might as well play 5-4-2. Cox can have his 3 cbs and we get 2 up front. With 0 impact on our goalkeeping effectivness.
Only free agents now.
Although I am not aware what the rules are if we were looking at a keeper from non-league ( and there are some good ones out there )
Interesting that our rivals think that it is necessary to have a second keeper of Joe’s quality but we don’t rate the idea of having a first GK as good as him.
Stamp, there are GK’s out there. Mark Howard is another one with years left in him with good experience. There’s no excuse in keeping playing Watson.
