Hope he’s not a loser

November 15, 2024 at 5:15 pm #293895Stood out in the cup game for Solihull against us last year, exactly the type of player we are lacking and strengthens a weak area of the side.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see those around him start finding form now

November 15, 2024 at 5:19 pm #293897Hopefully defenders get a harder time
November 15, 2024 at 5:30 pm #293900I wish him well.
November 15, 2024 at 5:32 pm #293901Hope he is not told to get back into defensive position and stand off the keeper, letting him take the piss for 70 minutes until we are losing before the lad is allowed to run at him!
November 15, 2024 at 5:35 pm #293902With a name like Beck…

November 15, 2024 at 5:43 pm #293903Add a lot more height for defending, but hopefully we are going to start playing on the front foot and not defensively
November 15, 2024 at 5:47 pm #293904Hopefully he’s not full of antics and just plays his game.
We need to be a bit more hardcore/steel in the team like what other teams have easily shown us the way forward
November 15, 2024 at 5:56 pm #293905Two on paper sensible signings (I know football is played on grass)
Good luck to both and all the best to Finn why we ever gave him a contract with no intention of playing him is beyond me.
Will be interesting to see how we line up tomorrow looking forward to the game now1 user thanked author for this post.
November 15, 2024 at 6:39 pm #293908November 15, 2024 at 8:08 pm #293911Be interesting to see where and how carlton fits in now Beck is here. Butler will more than likely go with Whitehall and beck up top so only place he can play is the no 10 role occupied by Roberts and there’s no chance he’ll be going anywhere, and neither should he.
Butler from his interview the other day is keeping with this formation.
November 15, 2024 at 8:11 pm #293912Was expecting to see a sign saying North Kelsey.
Welcome young man!
November 15, 2024 at 8:19 pm #293915Butler did say he was sticking with this formation WG but we have changed shape occasionally during matches this season so you never know he may switch to a 4-4-2 mid game and give it a go. Beck may well start on the bench but a second half shift to 4-4-2 with Beck on and Clunan binned in midfield for two wingers in Carlton and Roberts might just convince him things can be different. Fingers crossed but anyway welcome to Mr Beck, lots of luck young man.

November 15, 2024 at 9:14 pm #293917Past his best buy date.
Hardly prolific.
Hit or Miss?
I think he’ll be a dud!
Happy to eat my hat if proven wrong!November 15, 2024 at 9:23 pm #293919Be interesting to see where and how carlton fits in now Beck is here. Carlton’s had a rough start, he’ll
Most likely be on the bench for the next few games, however there will be plenty of opportunity to make an impact.Fish might struggle now unless we get injuries- a short term loan with the option of recall might not do him any harm

November 16, 2024 at 9:22 am #293938No doubt Max Bell will call him “Bottesford.” How long before he gets him to join his campaign?

29 league games remaining. I’d bet that he scores less than 11 goals in those.
November 16, 2024 at 11:21 am #293943If he gets 10 I’d be delighted.
!5 from Whitehall, 15 Roberts, 10 Williams, 10 Carlton and 20 from everybody else and we should be OK.November 16, 2024 at 11:38 am #29394410 from Carlton?? 5 I reckon.
November 16, 2024 at 12:49 pm #293948It’s pre-match optimism, by 5.00 I’ll probably agree with you.

!5 from Whitehall, 15 Roberts, 10 Williams, 10 Carlton and 20 from everybody else and we should be OK.We scored 84 last season, the most in the league, and our three top scorers were:
Whitehall (21)
Elliott (11)
Butterfield (8)Asking four/five players to hit double figures is a bit of stretch!
