Just listened to it on Patreon.
Another great podcast but for completely different reasons.
Not for the faint-hearted (I recommend listening to it on headphones). Plenty more home truths and a laugh a minute.
Like a night out in a Barnsley boozer. Slack as a bag of knackers!

We were at a service station on the way to a southern match, and Parkin ambled past our minibus, saw us, had a look in and said “not much beer but on there be lads”. Anyone that scores the winning goal against TWS can’t be all bad. 😋🍻

The podcasts get better and better, the Haysie, Torps and the Andy Keogh were also excellent, now looking forward to John Eyre, Billy Sharp and John Gayle, but the Parkin one was brilliant, he certainly didn’t like Graham Alexander and the stories were so amusing, I bet he wished he had come here instead of Fleetwood now.
the 2 Matt’s and Brad plus Neil Wright are a very good team and also if you have Patreon the sessions with Andy (IronStats) is very good.May 2, 2020 at 1:46 pm #176618
How do you access Ironstats Mick?May 2, 2020 at 4:13 pm #176621
Patreon account, Andy, Brad and Matt Ellis do it, though the lads have been busy because Matt Blanchard says that we now have players contacting us to do a podcast now and I think there is around 10 lined up, I asked Mark Jackson to do his and he was right up for it, and contacted Matt straight away and Mark told me on Twitter afterwards he loved doing it, but Andy usually puts Stats on Twitter and then Matt asked him to do a monthly session on podcast, Brad and Matt E love doing the Stats and it is really interesting, they pick a different subject each month.May 3, 2020 at 6:41 pm #176639

It may have needed an over 18 certificate for language but Parkin had some very funny stories. Like you posted MM he clearly didn’t like Mr Alexander….he got him spot on with the formation observations. I thought the goalkeeper Iron Stats podcast was interesting. As the lads said and plenty on here have also, the goalkeeping position has definitely not been addressed correctly for a while. Watson’s stats didn’t paint a pretty picture.May 3, 2020 at 10:21 pm #176644

He didn’t mention it on the podcast Barrie but wether he mentioned it to the lads off air maybe Matt could answer that for you.May 4, 2020 at 11:59 am #176661
we probably won’t find out because all three of them are still laughing about it all.May 4, 2020 at 12:03 pm #176662
Northumbiron did you find the IronStats podcasts, they are on the Patreon list, I asked Matt Ellis on twitter if he would put one on here.May 4, 2020 at 12:43 pm #176663
Yes Mick, thanks for that.
I clicked on the “become a Patreon” link on here then clicked on the “P” logo which took me into the list of podcasts and stats.
The goalkeepers one is there. I’ve not listened to it as yet, maybe later today.
Dunno whether it’s possible to add Patreon to the menu at the top of the IB homepage.May 4, 2020 at 1:35 pm #176667

A good listen, he’s very forthright. Interesting to hear about Alexander who sounds like he’s another one who thinks he always right.
Its a good job the expletives weren’t bleeped out otherwise there would not have been a lot left to listen to.
Well done chaps.
