Has anybody noted the ridiculous team formation on its site? Beestin in back four and Taft and Boyce in midfield? It beggars belief
October 1, 2022 at 7:14 pm #245876Been like that all season.
Obviously if you’re non-league they don’t give a shit.
Until you draw a Pl team in the third* round of the FA Cup!
*fourth round for us!

October 1, 2022 at 8:14 pm #245879Are they listing them by their team numbers? Just a thought…
October 1, 2022 at 8:39 pm #245882No, it’s a technique known as “Not the Premiership so can’t be arsed.” Makes you wonder how they can do a match report and still not see who’s playing where.

October 1, 2022 at 10:05 pm #245885Been like this for some time.
Football results used to be listed in order of importance.
We are now below women’s football🙁1 user thanked author for this post.
October 1, 2022 at 10:49 pm #245890Agh women’s football see West Brom women changing the colour of their shorts from white to blue in case they leak while on their period, bloody ridiculous.
October 1, 2022 at 11:54 pm #245894Is that why you buy yellow boxer shorts?

October 2, 2022 at 1:04 am #245896Sky still have Keith Hill listed as our manager!! Thank God he isn’t.
October 2, 2022 at 9:06 am #245905Women’s football is the future. Any club with the facilities for mens football should put them for use for a woman’s team.
I would even predict that a Scunthorpe United Women’s Football Club would attract bigger gates than the men. It would have to use Glanny Park while the guys are away. Football and extra income every week.

I feel sorry for any females in your life with that attitude.

October 2, 2022 at 12:55 pm #245935Poor old “Our Lass”.
October 2, 2022 at 5:09 pm #245950It wasn’t me who announced the shorts issue at West Brom CBRP. Why now? Didn’t know there as ever been a problem, the only leakage I can remember was Paula Radcliffe having a piss and a shite at the side of the road during the marathon,, has there been a clamour for women to stop wearing white shorts if there as I must have missed it, Would be very sad imo the women’s football team won the euros in the white kit, I did think posters would have least liked the pun “bloody ridiculous” never mind.

October 2, 2022 at 7:59 pm #245966Nothing to do with crap humour or being ‘snowflakes’ (just a poor excuse to mock people who call you out). As for England players:
During the summer, England’s Beth Mead said the issue had been raised as soon as the new Lionesses kit was unveiled for the European Championship.
“It’s something we’ve fed back to Nike,” said Mead. “Hopefully they’re going to change that [the colour]. It’s very nice to have an all-white kit but sometimes it’s not practical when it’s the time of the month.”

October 2, 2022 at 8:16 pm #245967What issue, has anyone ever seen menstrual blood on women’s shorts or sports knickers? At a game or sporting event, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
October 2, 2022 at 10:10 pm #245973What gives you the right to pontificate about sports women preferring not to wear white shorts? You don’t even think women should be allowed at football matches ffs.

Hang on…I thought those things with wings guaranteed no leaks?
Red Bull?October 3, 2022 at 11:42 am #245993What gives a few women the right to pontificate Deerey,do we have to do everything they want. Tampax, panty liner or thin sanitary towel, sports knickers and then shorts. FFS they haven’t cut an artery, I only said I didn’t want women at men’s games even more so now if there’s so much of a threat they’ll be leaking onto the seats.
October 3, 2022 at 12:08 pm #245995What gives women a right to ‘pontificate’ is that they are human, just as us men, so have every right to comfort and dignity. ;-)
October 3, 2022 at 1:02 pm #246003‘What gives a few women the right to pontificate Deerey,do we have to do everything they want.’
You don’t have to do anything. It’s their opinion, their participation in sports, not yours. If they’re saying they’d rather not wear white shorts it’s their prerogative, not yours or anyone else’s.
October 3, 2022 at 1:54 pm #246009Agreed Deerey but doesn’t mean that football clubs have to change their kit to suit them, they could always find another club who don’t wear white shorts or stop participating in sport altogether if they are that bothered. That’s about it for me on this topic maybe I’ll come back on it next month.

The problem with find another club approach is that if every club enacts player/employee alienating measures there are no suitable clubs left. If all players refuse to play then there’s no sport left for spectators.
Of course the pull of money and national pride, for England, will override concerns, but I don’t see why it is wrong for players to demand something which suits them. They are human and are deserving of respect. I do not see the issue in providing a simple solution to a problem like this.
