People slagging Nuttall off need to get a grip, he’s our no 1 striker. I don’t get why certain fans are hurling abuse at him. I suspect it will be the moronic younger section of fans.

Nobody slagging him off on Twitter, everyone I have seen are supporting him, also there is a good photographs of the group of youths goading him, with stewards and some of our players there who must have heard what was said, some fans who were there were slagging the fans off who had a go at him on Twitter.

So was it the youngsters or not or a combination of young and old? Either way they are all a bunch of tossers IMO and need to stop this crap, we all need to show support to all the team as a basic requisite of being a supporter yeah? If and when Swann does bugger off we still need a team to support, not constantly verbally abuse game after game.

Just read on Facebook that the person that started the abuse has apologised to Joe and he also apologised, they shook hands and hopefully thats the end of this so we can get on with supporting the club, players and management.

The picture on Twitter was from back to side views, whether there was older people on the picture I am not sure, but they looked like teenagers or early 20 year olds to me, just hope it has been sorted and I do know Joe Nuttall has been looking at the posts because he has responded to them.

Two sides of Beestin:
1) What a super through ball for our goal!
2) Ogle tried hard but struggled to clear in our box and Beestin watched the guy shoot unchallenged. Am not saying that he could have necessarily got in a tackle to prevent their goal but an effort to just narrow the angle might have given us a different outcome.

A bit harsh les. I’ve just seen the highlights and Beestin certainly made an effort to block the shot. Was he a bit slow to react – maybe, but to say he “watched” the player shoot is a bit unfair IMO.

Some of these comments are embarrassing. How many on here were there?
An old boy shouted to Nuttall saying “learn to jump”.
He then swore and flagged the old boy, which is what caused the 20/30 to go down to the bottom in defence of the bloke who was entitled to his opinion.
There wasn’t endless abuse on here as most are dramatically suggesting.
At FT he came over and the saga continued when he threatened to kill two supporters if he saw them on the street.
Even if his ability was questioned all game long, how can those comments be justified?

I presume this version of the exchange will be on someone’s phone on video which can then be produced as evidence to back up these remarks by Nuttall. Either that or several people be prepared to back up what they saw and heard and swear to it as evidence as or when when these allegations go to court because threatening to kill someone is a serious charge. If not then all these remarks are deemed circumstantial if evidence can’t be produced and everybody can get on with supporting the team in these sorry times. Let’s be right after this weekend if what we are led to believe is true regarding the club needing £250,000 by November or else…..we may not have a football club left very soon.

Sad to say but likely Nuttal will.on his toes in January with Apter and a couple of others .. with zero funds for replacements the fat lady may start tuming up.again .. thats if we still exist in the new year

Thanks for that STID, I said on The Heed thread I hope everyone would keep off Nuttalls back now after his last season’s outburst, Ironawe said there was nothing to see but obviously there is, glad it was much of nothing on friday. But it’s still there all the same, doesn’t really matter as soon as he gets another offer he’ll be off and yer can’t blame him.

The old saying ” youth is wasted on the young ” came about through centuries of social observation of the youth of the times. When they realise what it’s all about and how to behave they will be older, probably married with a couple of kids and mortgaged up to the bollocks like many millions before them. Also many of them won’t give a shit about Scunthorpe United ( not all but many ) and will probably be watching Sky Sports and the Mancs, Liverpool or whoever is the current football giant of the day. I would suggest that the few older ones who still turn up snapping and snarling like fu***ng retards are probably well aled up beforehand and don’t know any better anyway. Such is life.

Why not have a quiet word with a few of the players, kit man or various others that all heard it.

S11D I was simply pointing out that if the threat to kill allegations were true and the matter ended up in court because it might, then substantial evidence would need to be provided either by sworn testimony and any video evidence to back it up would be useful too. These are serious points being raised, don’t you realise the possible legal ramifications that might occur because of your posts contents?
