The Bees will sting us Friday night, taking all 3 points back to The Hive.

    SUFC 0-2 Barnet

    Smashed Chezzy 3-0 yesterday.
    A Nicke Kabamba hat trick.
    He’s 6ft 3” btw
They look to be a BIG team.
He’s third top scorer in the league with 14 goals.
    Pritchard has 8 goals.
Only 1 defeat in last 12 games.

    Barnet v Chezzy:

Well you can’t say Chesterfield didn’t have the chances, just didn’t take them and if you give a big strong guy the freedom of the park to play in the area, you will get beat. Yes it’s a tough prospect but we are playing better now so who knows.

Season ticket holders can bring a friend for a fiver. Need a crowd like yesterday to make as uncomfortable as we can for them.

    A striker wouldn’t go a miss either.

Think a proven striker would have finished off those two breakaways from young Wilson yesterday, he’s a cracking little player and I’m not blaming him that much because he’s still very young and learning every game but getting his shot away early is something he needs to work on, great prospect though and really ran them ragged at times.

Iron-awe, Wilson as you said above he’s a really talented lad with a lot of ability but you can tell he’s not a striker because he doesn’t have that natural strikers instinct. I would imagine on the wing though he’d cause no end of problems. No doubt he’s the most talented player we’ve had through the academy in years.

I still don’t understand why Hill didn’t really give him any game time. There’s definitely a quality player in there.

this is gonna be a tough opener for Mr Dean n Co .. Barnet boshed Chesterfield a team who beat us TWICE comfortably over the festive period , hoping the new owner honeymoon and Nelsons combined assistance can at least get Scunny a point… not seeing a nil nil here i reckon theres a few goals in this one …all that said ,,

    How did Youngs trial go?

They’re to pay 1.2million for him, tipped as the next Stuart Thom. The older posters will remember him, gangly god who was about 90% legs !. I remember him out of nowhere scoring an absolute screamer at home in the away end. I remember rubbing my eyes in amazement.

Hope Jimmy Dean has a pin to pick the team with.

Or will he just go with the first 11 names he can remember?

I think the big lad will start, maybe instead of O’Malley. Depends what formation he plays though.

I doubt that the loans have been bought in to make up numbers.

Dewhurt and Apter both got extended runs.

Surely, for the first two games he will lean heavily on Nelson.
(Well. I think it’s around 16 midfielders he has to choose from.)

Nah. They are all self centred egotistical faux savants.
He’ll do his own thing to lay down his markers, red lines and rules etc.
    Head Coach… appeasement.
He’ll be frozen out and gone at the end of the season.
It’s happened many, many times before.
    Don’t get too giddy guys.
    Money talks.
The big boys are top of the league for a reason.

Wrexham’s TV show drags them in £500,000 an episode!

Our gate receipts drag us in about £70,000 per game (3,500 x £20)

    Wrexham = 10,000 x £20 = £200,000

    Disparity.

This is why I like Bru compared to Scunny Twitter and Facebook: realism. If you dare say anything that’s not 100% praise on there you’ll get chased out of town by a baying mob!

Hey hang on a mo … why not make a documentary series based on the real happenings at SUFC over the last 10 years .. all the early good stuff followed up by the gore that Swan inflicted right up to the present day and Hiltons arrival ,, a real tear jerking roller coaster epic ..now what could we call it ???????????

    Boom to Bust ..
