All is not well, coach leaving with a parting shot at the way the club is being run.
Players leaving.
Will they manage to put out a decent team on Saturday.
Easy three points for the Iron.
Hopefully Scarborough turn over Chorley.
Really don’t care what happens in the Tamworth/Chester game.March 14, 2024 at 10:54 am #282751Yes Banbury are going through a very bad patch and 3 points are there for the taking.
They have lost all of their last six matches and are in freefall.MY PREDICTION IS SCUNTHORPE 4 BANBURY 0.

Attendance 3600March 16, 2024 at 1:25 pm #282798£10 bet on a 4-0 win, if it comes up I could be tempted to buy Awaywego a pint.
March 16, 2024 at 5:46 pm #282803Banbury were lucky we didn’t score a dozen or more, we played well without going into third gear, they had one corner and maybe one shot, What the f is Evans doing getting sent off, 1-0 up just no need to get involved did it at chorley and from what i could see did the same again today, never looked in any danger at all today and the most comfortable win ive seen from us ever.
March 16, 2024 at 6:36 pm #282804Yes, AWG but the ref was rank. He could have taken the points from us.
Second time in a few weeks where I can’t justify a ref having any marks.
Not only a plethora of appalling decisions but allowed so much cheating. Took backchat from players.
Yet again we weren’t allowed a 100% penalty – and 15 seconds later the decision fired up Evans’ anger. (Still down to Will, though!)March 16, 2024 at 6:36 pm #282805Banbury one of the worst teams I’ve seen this season yet we still play one up front.
Dean clueless2 users thanked author for this post.
March 16, 2024 at 6:38 pm #282806Thought that was the most rounded performance I’ve ever seen from Whitehall.
Thought too that Scales had benefited from being dropped.1 user thanked author for this post.
March 16, 2024 at 6:55 pm #282809We look a better team without Clunan in it. Didn’t think the ref was that bad myself but should have clamped down on the time wasting.
March 16, 2024 at 7:17 pm #282810Pro ref in our group wanted ref castrated.
March 16, 2024 at 8:15 pm #282812Banbury second worst team after Bishops S that we’ve had here, so poor in fact that the idiotic Evans (who will get targeted) dismissal did nothing to the pattern of the game. What worries me is this insistence of playing Beestinf in that wide left role – he had to wander in field to prosper and he played OK the more the game progressed. Dean has several loaners nowhere to be seen and persists with the same formation. It won’t work against a decent team and he’s giving no other players chances. If it wasn’t for the constant red cards we wouldn’t change anything. Three points is three points I guess. Ref was dire but it’s standard now. We’re not getting the run of the green with decisions
March 16, 2024 at 9:54 pm #282813Thought Banbury were the worst team at the AA this season, we took our chances against Bishop Stortford at home but didn’t bother taking hardly any today apart from the two goals. Also Banbury for me the unfittest team I’ve seen this season, the gaps and space were opening up for us all over the pitch after just twenty minutes play, quite unbelievable the opposition couldn’t keep up after such a short time of play. It’s the win that counts not the goals but our conversion rate per chances ratio is diabolical.
March 17, 2024 at 12:57 am #282816According to Jimmy, Evans was sent off for a supposed knee in the face, but didn’t even knee the player in the face. Dean seems to think we may have grounds for an appeal.
I don’t think it will get overturned, but we may get a game off his suspension. Evans is due to be out for the next 4 matches due to it being his second red card.
March 17, 2024 at 11:26 am #282830Incredibly Fitz made the team of the day in the non league paper lol, got to be a worse decision than that of any of the ref made yesterday.

March 18, 2024 at 3:04 pm #282869Just to inform that the Banbury player [Wise] who went of in the 12th minute suffered 2 cracked ribs and a punctured / collapsed lung. Reports he is doing ok.
March 18, 2024 at 3:27 pm #282872According to Jimmy, Evans was sent off for a supposed knee in the face…
From where I was, it was difficult to see exactly who did what, but I’m pretty sure I saw a leg flash out as someone took a kick at one of theirs in the immediate aftermath of play being stopped. To be honest I’d thought it was Whitehall so was surprised to see Evans get his marching orders.

March 18, 2024 at 6:20 pm #282874That’s also what I thought I saw from my vantage point in the DRE Apollo11, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be.
