🤣 Well, yes! My daughter showed me the trailer earlier. Should be good. I’m a recent convert to the Mick Herron Slow Horses books. Great adaptation by Apple of the first 2 books. Looking forward to more. Jackson Lamb not smoking would be plain wrong. Fantastically portrayed by Gary Oldman. I used to live next door to his sister, Mo, from Eastenders. Never forget the time one summer she shrieked, ‘there’s a fackin big rat running towards your garden!!’. Think she must have scared it off as we didn’t see it. One time Gary pulled up in a chauffer driven black Merc. Much curtain twitching commenced. Brilliant days. Mid 90s. Though that was more of a side show. Best of times, with great friends, to this day. Oops, getting nostalgic and melancholic. Sorry!

Looking forward to seeing the movie Sidey, it’s getting good press and I’ve always enjoyed historical films. Always been fascinated by the nuclear arms race particularly its origins like this film hopefully will portray accurately.

In the pub last night and a guy I know who smokes rollys said “I’m going to give this up!”

“Good for you” I replied.

“Yeah. I’m thinking of moving on to vapes”.

“Nah, mate” I said. “Stay on the baccy. Unless you want to look like a complete dickhead!”
