I noticed, in the club’s website, that the players are “back on the grass.” Could this be an explanation for last season’s performances?

Maidstone and Bromley both have 3G artificial pitches. So we’ll have to train on astroturf at some point.

Funnily enough Harrogate and Sutton both got promoted after playing on 3G. Bromley didn’t do too bad last season either.

Mets pitcher Tug McGraw, on whether he prefers grass to AstroTurf: “I don’t know. I’ve never smoked AstroTurf.”
