Midweek crowds tend to be lower then Saturday games but with tonight’s game being available for £5 if the double ticket offer was taken up from last week, I wonder how many will actually bother turning up? Weather forecast is better then Saturdays encounter with Rochdale with no rain expected and 6 to 7° providing a pretty good night temperature for February. I’m gonna be there as usual desperately hoping for some entertainment and the unlikely event of a win but then again there are still a few mugs like me left. However will the people who took up the two match offer ( only £20 for me with the over 65 concession ) think “it’s only a fiver, f it I’ll stay home and watch the telly instead “.

February 22, 2022 at 4:00 pm #232583Less than 2000- we are heading for the 15/1600 we used to get in the 70s.

February 22, 2022 at 4:08 pm #232589On a better night! The frequent figure of 1,200 and something in SET the next night was a depressing sight.

Given an attendance of, what, 2,400 v. Rochdale, it suggests that not many will have taken up that offer!
Northampton aren’t going to bring many, I assume, so under 2,000 is a real possibility tonight.
February 22, 2022 at 4:46 pm #232599In response to the op. Can you still get a f for a fiver in Scunny? Asking for a friend, obviously.

February 22, 2022 at 4:54 pm #232600For the first time this season I’ll be missing a home game voluntarily.
Something about that Rochdale second half finally broke my spirit.
Expect Northampton to bring 400+ so it should keep the crowd about 2000

Well if you watch Scunny on a regular basis you come out the ground at full time feeling pretty f***ed off, dont know if that helps you at all, or rather your friend.

February 22, 2022 at 5:26 pm #232610I am with CBRP on this one. Even with a season ticket the second half on Saturday was a watershed for me.
If the team can’t turn up why should I?
Will probably suffer it on iFollow but only because it’s already paid for.

Well fair play to you Cliff, you have lasted longer than myself.
February 22, 2022 at 10:31 pm #232638February 22, 2022 at 10:43 pm #232640Better team tonight but they had three good chances, one was good defending by Millen, Watson got a touch onto the bar and bodies were put on the line for the other, but I thought we played well and that is the main thing until the end of the season, I didn’t know what the attendance was but there was more there than I thought would turn up.

February 23, 2022 at 9:23 am #2326562355 might have been the official att3ndance, but that must have included all season ticket holders, a mumber of whom weren’t there!!
We estimated just under 2000 – with about 400 NT supporters.
February 23, 2022 at 9:36 am #232660The lads in the DRE were brilliant last night. UTWI

February 23, 2022 at 5:09 pm #232709I went last night, would agree the lads in the Dre were great value last night, really backed the team.
I enjoyed the game, was desperate by the end for us not to lose.
I thought Northampton were that fixated with fouling that they probably stopped themselves winning the game, very strange.
I won’t bother anymore this season as it is obvious we have no ability to score goals and that’s what the game is all about. The movement up front is pathetic.
That said we did show some metal at the back at last. -
