Agree with all that. It’s one thing being rightly critical of the match referee between ourselves as supporters but not going to do us any favours whatsoever these advanced actions mentioned above. Some need to think more about the consequences of their actions, and that applies to the stuff in the effin and jeffin thread too. Turning into a poundshop Millwall. Maybe an exaggeration but certainly the ‘no one likes us we don’t care’ attitude.

March 28, 2024 at 8:10 am #283294You’re spot on there TJO.
We act like “We’re a league club go easy on us” When the likes of Stockport and York rolled up their sleeves and fought their way out of this league.
The club’s reputation is at a low level anyway thanks to the Idiots with the smoke bombs and pyros, most of which who were unbanned by you know who and encouraged by SUFG and TIH.
Going to be some worried people if it does all go wrong in the next few weeks!

March 28, 2024 at 8:41 am #283296I have seen Matt’s post and am sure that on reflection he’ll learn to temper his responses,he’s new to the limelight and just learning
March 28, 2024 at 8:49 am #283298Probably the worst decision I have ever seen go against us, but I think we have had worse referees this season.

March 28, 2024 at 10:12 am #283305Venn diagram time on X again. Hilton disciples and ref abusers. Some noticeable culprits in that there middle bit.
March 28, 2024 at 10:14 am #283306I’m sorry but the Matt Ellis responses don’t look good to me, suggesting there is an agenda against Scunthorpe United.
Yeah, to quote a Scunthorpe legend “he went down in my estimation when he said that”.
Scunthorpe United are a full time professional club playing in a part time league with a squad of highly paid professional players and when we can’t manage to get a result at Spennymoor start kicking off like spoiled kids who haven’t got their own way and blaming the whole thing on the ref.
Embarrassing.Exactly – it’s as if we forgotten that the reason we lost was our goalkeeper messing about. Our manager also disgraced himself at full time.

Too easy – I’ve seen some very silly posts from fans I respect and who were on the right side of the Hilton vs. Sanity battle.
March 28, 2024 at 10:18 am #283308True, but I’ve also seen some that are, one of the worst pro Hilton abusers at it with homophobia. The Venn diagram post wasn’t intended as a science btw.

March 28, 2024 at 10:31 am #283313James Moody making an homophobic post, the irony.
March 28, 2024 at 10:39 am #283314Did he? Certainly not seen that.
March 28, 2024 at 10:55 am #283316Thought 64 was insinuating he had, apologies all round if I’ve got it wrong.
March 28, 2024 at 10:59 am #283317Is J Charles still around?
March 28, 2024 at 11:43 am #283318Reading through all of these posts reminds me of an old saying.
Not only do they want to sh?t on us from a great height, they expect us to say thank you for the hat.
March 28, 2024 at 1:24 pm #283323I wonder if the difference between the Spennymoor win and 3 points as opposed to a draw and 1 point will mean they make the playoffs based on the result against us. The team missing out on the playoffs will be the most hard done by victims of our disallowed goal?
March 28, 2024 at 4:37 pm #283332Excellent point. Outpouring of sympathy for Scunny from the unlucky team if it happens?
March 28, 2024 at 8:41 pm #283339Absolutely right Noster. My Chester mate was with me on Tuesday and he was more gutted than I was. Reckons Spennymoor’s win effectively dumps them out of the playoffs.
