Hopefully he has gone without a payoff.
On a personal level it would be great if he can work through his issues and realise his undoubted talent somewhere else.
On a professional level he has to rank as one of our all time top wage theives.
Problem is some of our creativity has gone with it, a d we dont have much of that in this team. I think its quite possible his cross that loft scored from against port vale was possibly the last cross we put in to the box 🙂
No doubt he’ll go down on the “wasted scrap heap pile”. One thing I hate is talented footballers piss around and waste their talent when you get less talented in the lower leagues who try their hearts out and some of which never get the break they need higher up.
Free’s up a wage anyway, hopefully we get a few in.
Hope the lad can get his life back on track, he’s got bags of ability but as soon as the charge about assaulting a police officer was made public it was pretty obvious he was toast here. Could take him a while to rebuild his career but I hope with the right help he gets there.
