Which six teams have we played competitively on three different ‘home’ grounds?
March 21, 2022 at 7:15 am #233981Brighton – Goldstone, Withdean & Amex
Wimbledon – Plough Lane, Selhurst Park, National Hockey Stadium
Accrigton Stanley – Crown Ground, Turf Moor (FA Cup), Wham StadiumMarch 21, 2022 at 8:46 am #233982Hull City – Anlaby Road, Boothferry Park and KCOM
Rotherham – Millmoor, Don Valley and New York
Brighton – Goldstone, Gillingham and Withdean
Accrington – Peel Park, Burnley and Wham StadiumI think it was MK Dons we played at the Hockey Stadium Pat.
March 21, 2022 at 10:09 am #233988Ok, I’ve cocked up on this one, remove the word ‘home’!
Brighton, Hull, Rotherham and Wimbledon (Kingsmeadow) are correct. The Crown Ground and the Wham Stadium are the same ground.
March 21, 2022 at 11:36 am #233993Man city, Hyde road, Maine road and the Etihad.
March 21, 2022 at 11:57 am #233994Man utd . North road, Bank Street, Maine road and old Trafford.
March 21, 2022 at 11:58 am #233995but we still have played Accrington on 3 grounds though, Peel Park the old ground, Burnley we played them in the FA Cup and the Wham Stadium.
March 21, 2022 at 12:22 pm #233997Grimsby Town-Blundell Park, Blunder Park, Shitsville.

March 21, 2022 at 12:50 pm #234000Bristol Rovers -Eastville, Twerton Park and the Memorial Stadium
March 21, 2022 at 1:30 pm #234001I don’t think we played them at Twerton Park but could be wrong, I don’t think we have played Man United away never mind on 3 grounds, City we have played at Maine Road and Etihad but doubt the other one.

March 21, 2022 at 2:02 pm #234002Apologies I read the thread wrongly, something I ask other posters to do on a regular basis. The naughty step for me.

March 21, 2022 at 2:32 pm #234004Never played BBR at Twerton Park.
(Looked it up for previous thread!)

Correct awaywego and one I hadn’t factored in, so there are seven! NI is correct, we never played at Twerton Park.
March 21, 2022 at 6:53 pm #234018but we still have played Accrington on 3 grounds though, Peel Park the old ground, Burnley we played them in the FA Cup and the Wham Stadium.
The team/club we played at Peel Park was a different one, known as Accrington 1891. Just to confuse things even further, the Accrington that was a founder member of the Football League was a third club!
I thought there might be some controversy with this question but I thought it would be regarding Wimbledon!
March 21, 2022 at 6:55 pm #234019Just to clarify, there are two more teams to get.
March 21, 2022 at 7:53 pm #234028Southampton, The Dell, St Mary’s and London road Peterborough. Stoke city, Victoria ground, The Macron I think or bet 365 as it is now and Hillsborough.
March 21, 2022 at 9:28 pm #234035Correct awaywego!
