I don’t think it’s fair to include JustIron with those two. He was always respectful towards critics of Hilton, unlike the other two.

I can only assume this is Hilton deliberately antagonising the fan base so he can self justify walking away without paying the tax bill and September wages.
Should be gone by the weekend.

The most pressing question for the short term is- will he pay the staff and players at the end of the month ?
Worried things are now past the point of no return for the club .
Hoping not and feel for the iron fans, it’s been a hell of a ride .

Totally agree Mk Iron. I’ve been saying the same for weeks that WHAM wants to be away and looking for a way out, and so by antagonising our supporters and getting reactions he feels he will be able to justify him walking away.
Think again Hilton. After your disgraceful actions in banning our loyal fans and the administrators of our fans forum you have only shown not only SUFC supporters but nationwide fans too that in my opinion you are totally unfit to call yourself a club chairman.

Just remember WHAM that without supporters there is no Scunthorpe United FC. Over 3500 supporters have been backing you and even singing your name at matches. This is how you repay us for our loyalty towards OUR SUFC!!!!

Overwhelmed by the messages of support received from Iron fans and the wider footballing family. Scunthorpe United are on the brink but days like today, where the fan base unites, provide a faint glimmer of hope that the club can be saved. It means a lot. Thank you.

As low as today has been, I was amazed, and relieved, at the support the Matt’s and Dave Green have received on social media.
There was even a post having a dig at them on Facebook that swiftly got removed after the comments were overwhelmingly in favour of those banned.
I lost hope that we could ever be saved as many had simply lost touch with reality and were swallowing the lies, at least today the majority of supporters seem United in the sense they won’t tolerate bully boy tactics from Hilton and Herbert anymore and, are prepared to stand up for what is right.

The town and supporters and other members of North Lincolnshire should have run these two evil people out of the area, sadly this could be seen coming for the past six months, how does one guy run up debts of £12 million and award the clubs assetys to his company and get awway with it????????
Secondly how the hell does a guy purchase the club for £3 million pounds, and also supposedly have bought two large plotd of land for a supposedly new stadium, and do this when he doesn’t have the money to do so.I really feel sorry for the past and present fans of SUFC and I appreciate that it would be difficult, but wish that the NLCC could do somethig to save our club.
There is no needto issue me with a ban, because while they are conected to our club, I have banned myself.

With the current and previous incumbents seemingly intent on destroying the club, it does make me wonder if this was pre-planned to finish the club and take the land for selling, and all the histrionics are all part of the theatre.

It was £3 not £3M.

The main hope I have is the outpouring of support for your club from fans outside of the Town .
Seems like everyone from clubs ,pundits and media alike want Scunthorpe Utd to survive (ironically the very people Hilton & Herbert shelled out the most abuse to ) .
The hope would be that it will all pull on someone’s heartstrings who is well meaning and has the deep pockets to fund the club out of this situation .
Or if the worst came and a phoenix club was required I feel there would be goodwill from far and wide to support it .

Hilton showed he wasn’t incompetent at Ilkeston, he got shite virtually from the start and should have walked then, first game at Brigg “what players are going to turn up” bollocks and relentless shite ever since so he’s served time for fraud so bloody what, Hilton please go and leave us to it but you do need to grow a pair if your going to engage with fans on social media especially with Scunny fans. We are the very best and worst all rolled into one.
Relentless shite that has all turned out to be true. Good job IB and others were persistent in managing to flush him out the club.

If what IB and others brought to light was kept silent, we’d have just been blissful with ignorance. It would have, in all likelihood, come crashing down anyway given the nature of the character, as he has shown in particular detail since that Athletic story.
