Sheridan is a good call … but he wouldn’t have come to us I suspect. The Oldham link probably clinched it. And they are certainly not out of trouble yet despite his initial success. If Hill is committed to us longer term … and the Chairman is committed to him … then it may yet prove to be a sound appointment. ( I know … trying to find reasons to be cheerful!!)
