You’d think the guy who handed it over might know better as to what he thought he was doing

Not really if he was handing it to Mr Swann, not from my point of view I never had a problem with him, but to the many on here who said they wouldn’t give him a penny more, weren’t you one of them 64? The next thing the many will be saying Swann was a most trustworthy owner.

So to be clear, you don’t know but seem to think because I stopped going to GP he should know that any deal he entered into might not be legit?

Not exactly 64 I just said I thought you were one of them, not you alone your really not that influential, if I were handing over £150,000 I’d have done my homework first, even a quick look on Bru should have been warning enough not to, I’m sure you’ll agree.
That’s why I christened him “Ian not so Sharp” Gift or loan it matters not.

It wasn’t Swann who caused the issue in Sharp not getting the money back.

It was Swann who caused the issue that necessiatated Sharp having to stump up the money in the first place.

Based on your logic, it was Wharton’s fault for selling to Swann.

We could go back even further …..

That’s not really connected to my point. Awaywego is saying Sharp isn’t sharp for dealing with Swann and getting burned, yet he wasn’t burned by Swann in this.

‘I am happy in this moment, that we have a new chairperson. ?’ Wiping the name woman from our vocabulary (pregnant person anyone?) surely isn’t the way to go?

That’s nonsense. Wharton did not pull the financial plug. I don’t know this for sure as I was not party to the negotiations but I suspect Swann was still suggesting the Sharp consortium bid could be successful at the time the loan/donation was accepted by Swann.

Do you reckon Sharp paid in cash? Because my bank wouldn’t have let me draw that kind of money out without serious questions, Scenario, now sir what do you exactly need that amount of money for? To give to Peter Swann owner of Scunthorpe united to pay wages, now sir shut the door on the way out, but it’s my money! Yes sir we know and we’re he to protect you from scams.
On a serious note the wife wanted £5000 out of her account and I was with her they gave her the 3rd degree and after answering all the questions they asked her to read a terms and conditions note which actually said is the person next to you forcing you to withdraw the money lol, they really do go all the way to protect your money some people might take offence but we were impressed by them
