No-one with an ounce of decency would allow our SUFC to go under when buyers are interested, particularly a local consortium who have the best interests of our Club at ❤️. Swann should be trying to save us not wind us up for his own benefit. He should be meeting the consortium at least halfway to get the deal done now and over the line whilst we can still be saved. We supporters are playing our part by going through the turnstiles and on the terraces. What is Swann doing and he is the one who has got us into this mess and apparently he is still moving the goalposts instead of negotiating fairly. C’mon Swann, a total loser, get the deal done and clear off because no-one wants you here.

Are totally selfish people who are just bothered about self interest capable of showing an ounce of decency? I’m guessing probably not but I hope I’m wrong.

Having once supported Swann and feeling totally and utterly let down by what’s subsequently happened to the club under his ownership I’ve given up believing Swann has the best interests of the club at heart. Obviously we don’t know the facts but it’s reasonable to assume his business interests will be struggling.

I just hope he does the decent thing and puts the club above his personal interests, but having been let down so badly in the past I’m afraid I’m not holding my breath.

The reality is that we know nothing!!

Is Swann moving the goalposts? If so, please explain NLI because we don’t know.

Sp many people on here are making things up or “assuming” things. Let’s have some facts to back up what you are saying.

I’m not saying Swann is playing ball, but just making up stuff is not acceptable.

We don’t know everything, but I don’t think faffing around with some property developer for ages because he wouldn’t sell to a local consortium is the sign of someone who was acting just in the interests of the club. I think we can have some assumptions as to why it took so long for him to prioritise Elliott and Sharp.

If you were selling you’d look for the best deal you could get. Rightly so.

We don’t know if the local bid was ready when the London consortium made theirs. Swann cannot be blamed for selling the club!! We’ve been on at him for the last 3 years to do so.

No-one’s blaming him for selling the club, but people have lost all trust and are rather cynical of such explanations given his history of promises which never came to fruition and the fact this local consortium have been interested for months.

I am a bit sceptical that the local consortium got the money required at the very moment the other party pulled out.

If you believe you’ve sold your house and then the buyer pulls out, wouldn’t you go with the second best offer?

Particularly if you’d already decided to move away from the area.

London mob £8m, local boys £6m. Given a choice who would you sell to?

Price of a pint in London £5.50.

    My local £3.90.

    Seems fair!

Second best offer for him, maybe. On paper, from the little we suspect or do know, it didn’t seem that for the club’s longevity or for us fans. I guess I am annoyed because fans’ priorities differ from the owner’s and how close we have come to administration because of the delays. It might have made sense for him if the London consortium had more money, but it might not for us if they didn’t have our best interests in mind.

All thatI can say at this moment of time is that I pray that my prediction does not happen and we can get behind new owners and hope we get a new manager that can see a lot of improvement to the team.

Nothing else to say until it is done and dusted. UP THE IRON!!

We don’t know anything because we have never been told anything! The fans have been treated like the proverbial mushroom since he walked through the door! So the fans cannot be blamed for jumping to conclusions!

Jumping to conclusions is wrong, especially some of the ridiculous ones that have cropped up – and some people now look really stupid.

What is worse is where people just make stuff up, and that has happened a lot. Totally unnecessary.

It was Swanns lies and no information whatsoever about was was happening with our beloved SUFC that has caused all the uncertainty and worry with supporters. Yesterday I and many others were afraid of the future of our Club and whether we would be going into liquidation. Today I am sure we are all feeling extremely elated with Simon and Ian taking control and we will be backing them 100%. Let’s all look forward and support our SUFC! UP THE IRON! Don’t forget it’s a 12.30 KICK-OFF.

Swann’s caused enough trouble and division amongst the supporter base. He’s nearly gone for good. Time to look forward and embrace a brighter future, however hard it’s going to be. It’s not the time to be dragging up the past and what was said or done in anger or haste on social media due to Swann’s actions. Time to get behind the new owners.

Course we’re gonna go back to the past Deerey it’s a football forum, all this talk about administration and liquidation over the last few years has all been bollocks, not once did Swann threaten us with that scenario unlike St Wharton who did. All this boycotting because of the owner ffs, the football on show fair enough but the owner? Anyway now we have Scunny fans owning the club it’s got to be good for everyone let’s hope it’s onwards and upwards UTI.

Your call, fill your boots. Have a great time! Thanks for all the BS. Ironically it’s you who’ve spouted most of it on a near daily basis! The false BACS excuses should be framed for you. 🤣

Of course you did, everyone knew that 🤣. Just for the record, I was putting in monthly BACS transfers 25 years ago mate, I know full well how it works 🤣. Enjoy the new regime, or try to at least.

BACS and how long it takes payments to go through wasn’t the issue last month or this. That’s the point. Have you read anything Swann, the club and people directly involved have explained about this? Because it appears you haven’t. Last I’m saying on this. If you want to continue the silliness, go ahead.

Of course it wasn’t an issue last month Deerey they got paid on the correct dait was just somebody making a story up that wasn’t there. And we can all speculate what as gone on this month, and no doubt your Version would be different to mine. Whether Mr Swann was being naughty who knows, whatever the outcome is positive.
