Yes Richards Everton I think has signed till the end of the season the help the club out because we already have a number of loan players so helped us out by signing till end of the season to enable us play another one of those loan players.

I thought Shields looked good again when he came on, he doesn’t appear to mess around and at the 1st chance whips the ball in.

Line up was ok ,, Whitehouse a surprise starter Jimmy still not fancying Elliot up front with Bennett

Im gonna stick with this as my chosen starters n subs sort of a 4 4 2 with Bunker playing as a sweeper just behind Butterfeild Cam n Shields

Thought Bennett was poor first half. Not sure where Butterfield was playing as he played more forward than usual.

To be fair to Bennett, the whole team were pretty poor in the first half (barring Ogle And R-E). He improved being forward more in second half, as did the rest.

Wilson looked fooked and uninterested in the first half and was way behind Feeney in running at their defence and chasing back. I would have subbed Cam and brought on Pughy much earlier.

One of the worst managers we have had in recent times. Allegedly picked his squad and the only player who knew they would start the game was the Keeper, told the others when they arrived – any wonder they looked confused !!

The biggest compliment I will give Altrincham is it made a change seeing a team come here not diving all over the place trying to con the Referee.

Likewise, but he got a lot right I thought, judging by the footage.

Dean likes that formation with two sitters so may as well keep going that way but I’d play Butterfield further back advanced of Bunker and whoever is next to him. That should result in him getting on the ball more to spray the ball out to the wide players. Butterfield was playing really high, almost like a second striker at times and hardly had a touch 1st half.

Good idea, let’s move our top goalscorer further back and see if he can score from there.

Going by the second half highlights Bennett looked strong and certainly possesses a better first touch than Nuttall, McDonagh or Carver.

Is McDonagh injured ?… as mentioned on another thread bringing so many new faces in seems to have left some out in the cold .. saying that some of the newbies havent featured much either.

Hoping the results go our way Saturday thus gets the games in hand for teams around us wiped off.
