Late on Friday afternoon when Ernest thought nobody was looking a planning application PA/2022/1729 for development of Glandford Park was submitted to the council.

Luckily the elderly but nice chap from the Iron Trust was woken mid-nap to alert fellow fans.

It would appear to be Friday The 13th Part 3.

I never was much of a fan of slasher horror movies.

It’s looks like the original redevelopment plans – planning must have expired/expiring.

They held a consultation at the ground where supporters could look at plans a few years back

    It’s a timing issue.

In the week the club recieved a winding up order from HMRC, the owner who wants out puts in for planning to develope the assets which he is actually trying to sell.

Any new owners might want a different type of development altogether.

You would like to think so!

But should Ernest not sell, and it’s nearly a year or so since he put the club up for sale and having turned down offers already does anybody believe he actually wants to sell.

So a nice tidy formality, fails to sell, liquidates and the next day the bulldozers move in, because the planning was just that a formality.

Sorry but the club and fans have been stung once too often for something just to be a formality as far as Ernest is concerned.

Do I believe he wants to sell? We may get a better idea if the dickpicker’s consortium make an offer and it’s turned down aswell?

Is it just my suspicious mind or has anyone else considered the possibility that a couple of ringers have been brought into play to try and get the serious group to increase their offer?

Pure speculation of course but does anyone know if the other interested parties have actually got that kind of money? Supporters of previous clubs don’t seem to think so according to social media.

Of course I don’t think for a minute that the owner would be involved in anything underhand or untruthful.

Talks have been held with Gainsborough Trinity about a possible ground share.

” dickpicker’s consortium ” sounds like a naked session band from Nashville. 😂

    The dickpicker or the smurf?

Is Mr Swann trying to relinquish his position as the clubs most disliked owner?

Who are the serious group MK? Have a seen one yet, you don’t mean them that’s been hanging round since last April, if I was selling something I would have put them down as time wasters by now wouldn’t you? Maybe Deerey is right Swanny won’t entertain them no more, I’ve done that myself even when interested parties have come back with the full asking price.

No idea if I’m right or not awaywego but I can imagine how Simon’s recent interview and posts might be getting right up his nose, even though he’s tried to be sympathetic to him. Just my opinion.
