Salford would have easily beaten us on the wage! We just couldn’t compete with them.

Dropping from the championship his wages would be way out of our present pay scale

Saw the headline and thought we’d signed an overweight school teacher to play up front. Phew, that was a close call.

Terrible thug of a player, we can go down on our own without lowering ourselves to having him on the team.

Surely you don’t all think he’s gone there just for the money?

Alex Hunt, after staring for the cod’s for 6 months has gone to bolster Oldham’s midfield. Could’ve done a job for us

Most could do a job for us but Swannster won’t spend any of his own money and therefore we’re only spending what we generate.

Clearly can’t be bothered and we’ll go through all the scraps nobody else wanted come the end of the window.

at the end of the window desperation is bound to set in and will end up with an odd experienced past it player of little use/improvement to the squad .. but then Swann can say he tried ..
    FEEL SORRY FOR HILL

Im due a 1 month trip back to Blighty later this year put off cos of covid and will be attending as many home and away fixtures as poss , never been to Boreham Wood only the service station .. twill be interesting to see what sort of home crowds Scunny will get IF IF they do end up in the NL .

I went to Boreham Wood once, getting on for 20 years ago, it was a proper non-league ground back then, like going to Brigg or Bottesford.

I can’t remember the details but I believe they’re pretty unpopular among Conference fans – possibly because of their owner.

Living in Northumberland the NLP will be shite for me.

If Halifax go up then home games will be closer than any away fixture.

I’ll be relying on the Heed coming up, and that’s a bloody awful place to watch football!

Seems we are missing out a lot, whilst all around us are signing at will Sunny Scunny obviously is not as appealing .. most of the clubs around us in L2 have made numerous signings , Stevenage Carlisle and even Oldham n Colchester are on the bus ..

circa 9 days and it aint looking good is it.

Even the Cods are finding players and Abrahams is a tidy player.

It seems to me that our apparent inactivity in the transfer market has been planned so that Kieth can get players with whom he has had some involvement with in the past. I for one am happy to see a handful of Cox’s mistake get shown the door and be replaced by Kieth Hill’s tried and trusted,

Time to stand up and be counted Scunny fans! UTBI

I thought Hill was full of it when he said he had to wait to get who he wants but Anthony Grant, Feeney will stiffen up the midfield. Nuttall will provide the focal point for young Burns to feed off. There’s another striker coming in who’s hopefully a goal threat.

A CB who’s no doubt more solid than Taft and if we’re lucky there might be another one who’s probably a replacement for Hackney if we can get that loan terminated early.

You can tell these are Hill’s signings as well because these are sensible signings who are leaders and are proven. Put it this way, you can tell Swann hasn’t had much input in these coming in.

Hill has had to leave it this late too. Probably something to do with getting shot of some deadwood to make way for new signings. I, like everyone else here, hope that it isn’t too late. But I am more confident in this manager than I ever was with Cox.

We have two or three really people important weeks ahead of us. Some gamechangers hopefully hitting the ground running..

I hope to god KDT get’s paid off…his contract ends in september. I can’t see it costing that much to do and free’s up another space. All he’s doing is wasting one any way !

Only 1 day left after match day, Monday needs to be busy.
How much longer is the Nuttall deal going to take, does he really want to come here?

Already done and we might be seeing him sooner rather than later 😉

No matter how big an improvement those incoming are over what we had, the fact that it’s happening close on deadline day means we’ve had another month and four games without a point to show for them.

Can’t see us coming away from Vale Park with owt today either.

We all know this manager and these types of players should have been brought in in the summer.

    Someone thought they knew better!

    No I didn’t!

Cox should have been relieved of his position last May.
