We all need a regular reminder that less than 16 months ago we were being evicted from Glanford Park, potentially ground sharing at Gainsborough, Brackley was our last ever home game at GP and we were about to be liquidated.
Let’s regain a sense of perspective.

February 1, 2025 at 1:36 pm #298323I find it more incredible that after reducing the debt down in such a short space of time that we now need a cash flow injection every month especially this season when Michelle got the season ticket money she didn’t receive when she took over.. any ideas what’s gone wrong.
Please bear in mind Michelle got the season ticket money that she didn’t get last season and a proportion of the higher earners went off the books. Best ever shirt sales you’ve got to admit it is strange to say the least.February 1, 2025 at 1:50 pm #298324Just a hunch, but maybe a lot to do with the thread title? Who’s at fault for that?.remind me.

February 1, 2025 at 3:56 pm #298329Define ‘approximately’.

How much money did season tickets bring in?
How much money outside of season ticket holders do they take in per game?
How much came in from shirt sales? How much does it cost to run the club monthly?
February 1, 2025 at 5:49 pm #298334I’m assuming a lot of old debts kept coming out of the background thinking they’d lost their money and now they’re after it again. Not something Michelle & Co could liabilitise for at the time I guess.
Season tickets must be 2,000 x £250.00 avg so £500k of the £1.2m turnover if we say another 1,000 from match day sales (assuming under 12’s free) then that’s another 23 games by £20,000 so £460k, the rest must be sponsorship, exec boxes (although they don’t appear to be fully utilised most match days) all in that would be another £250k – don’t know if that’s any good or not. If we have players on £2.5k per week you can understand the squad not being that deep, should use the loan market more.
February 1, 2025 at 6:30 pm #298335So , figures if close showing that paying as much Hilton’s debts that they have is not covered by income .Michelle Harness said the season ticket money got spent very quickly.
Hilton acolytes suggesting they are as bad as Swann and Hilton are just idiotsFebruary 1, 2025 at 6:31 pm #298336I have no answers.

5000+ at £40 a pop £200,000 now how much Scunny get from that ?
February 2, 2025 at 10:40 am #298344Not just swann and Hilton 64. Didn’t Swann have to pay Wharton all his loans back let alone the debt at the time.
If the income hasn’t paid down the debts how has it being paid down. Gifts lol.
February 2, 2025 at 12:21 pm #298345They’ve sold 5k shirts? Still no way near just paying your mates debt, basic maths you claim to not understand .You really can’t be as clever as you claim.I can get you a job on a stop and go if you like.
February 2, 2025 at 12:24 pm #298346Hilton bought club for a quid or two because it had debt,it’s his debt that the current board are dealing with.He said he had the means to deal with it.He didn’t and made it worse by refusing to pay bills ,also paying idiotic wages to get us relegated
February 2, 2025 at 1:07 pm #298348Before I ask a question let me make it clear that I am no Hilton fan. BUT (sorry Andy) didn’t he pay the tax bill?
February 2, 2025 at 1:31 pm #298351Suppose it’s something that you accept that when Hilton came in there was a dedt.
From what we’re led to believe from Michelle and Co the debt when she came in was circa £1,5 million and from what I remember when Swann handed over the debt to Hilton was circa £1,5 million, that’s pretty much a neutral time in charge budget wise.
Pretty deluded to say Hiltons wage structure got us relegated to NLN it got us to second place last year and obviously gone along way to getting us to second place at the moment this year, and the extra 1200 on the gate last year went along way to help pay for them I think you’ll agree.February 2, 2025 at 2:45 pm #298352I find it more incredible that after reducing the debt down in such a short space of time that we now need a cash flow injection every month
What’s incredible about it? We’re getting reasonable sized crowds but they’re simply not big enough.

We owed Kelme money due to Hilton not paying them. As far as I understand it, the company was very patient and generous with Michelle and the board when they took over, but who knows just how much of the ‘new kit’ money actually translated into SUFC money… Perhaps not as much as you would assume.

Now the board/club like so many other businesses will be subjected to an increase in our National Insurance contributions due to the October budget of the government.
Can see some players having decisions to make regarding future offers. It is going to be tough.

February 3, 2025 at 7:05 pm #298375Hilton wasn’t here long enough to pay Kelme. Businesses dont pay their bills that quickly.
Your right on the the money that scunny would have made Apollo11 even big clubs only get between 10% and 20% of the sale so God knows what we get.
Brought it up on the Stu fundraising thread on him buying club merchandise and how much the club gets not all it would seem at the time, would be interesting to know the true figure that actually went to the club.
Never bought a shirt or merchandise for myself and won’t be starting anytime soon.
