5 at the back winning points wise
Just the kind of searing insight we have come to expect.
Or alternatively 1.7 points a game with a back 5 – which doesn’t win automatic promotion.
Or 3 points per game with a back 4 – which of course does win automatic promotion.
And in %age terms ? vs 100.

as much insight as those who claim that which took us to the top is all of a sudden crap and the only way forward is to go to back 4? We have poor players hardly capable of playing a pass quickly, no formation will change that .In fact 4-4-2 it could be argued gives clueless Clunan even more options for dull sideways passes
Too small a sample size to judge.
We will probably be returning to a back 5 once the centre backs have got through their yellow card suspensions.
Interesting to see Man U playing a more expensive version of Butlerball yesterday. Centre backs that can’t pass forward and wing backs that don’t know how to play the position. Outnumbered in midfield and no service to the forwards. Initiative handed to lesser skilled opposition.
Just like watching the Iron.
