Shirt 3 for me the other two back of the shirts are too dark especially in our dark dingy tinpot stadium.

    I’ve voted 3.
    It somehow shouts non league.

Kit 3, it shouts non-league so loudly it’s the same as the kit we wore in our 98/99 promotion season to the third tier.

Three for me as well, although to be fair all of them are better than last year’s options.

Speaking of which, it’s January and we still await the unveiling of the white away strip that supporters had ?paid? to have their names incorporated into.

    Another SUFC PR disaster.

Yes, we deserve our relegation purely on the basis of this season’s home kit.

    Exactly so!

The fact that the colours faded out should have been a clue.

How on earth can SWANN expect fans to vote now on next seasons kits. What a cheek when we’re only just over half-way through this season. Another ploy to try and take the heat out of our present plight caused purely by HIMSELF and take the heat off HIMSELF. I’m sure most fans would agree SWANN needs to be focusing on the current debacle our Club is in and GET THE EFL LOAN PAID OFF AND GET SOME EXPERIENCED HALF-DECENT PLAYERS IN TO AT LEAST GIVE IT A GO AT KEEPING US IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE. I’m sure too that most fans would say never mind the kits focus on the job in hand.

It’s another Swann distraction tactic to take your mind off the real event of impending relegation NLI.
For what it’s worth I prefer 3 too.

The colours reflected in the empty seats in the stands!

I’m all for giving Swann the criticism he deserves but engaging with fans on the choice of kits does not seem to be grounds for a virtual kicking. Given the lead times involved with these things, a new design in January sounds about right. Especially given the delays we’ve had in getting the kits in the shop in recent seasons.

Of course, there’s always the question of why clubs have to change kits every season but I think most of us would be happy to see the back of our current abomination.

Yes. One would think that the club should be able to multitask. The club should be able to run this poll and make an effort to stay in the league. You could say they’re failing in the latter, and I would agree, but this shirt poll doesn’t take away much time for it to be an issue.

This vote happens every year now doesn’t it? Not sure if it’s early this year or not. If the club didn’t do it they’d get knocked for it. If they were planning a distraction I can think of better ways of doing it.

It’s just my opinion but the poll is much earlier this season. Then he’ll be after your money to pre-order shirts. It’s the same with us season ticket holders, he keeps bringing the renewal dates further forward every season. BUT THEN HE SAYS WHY SHOULD HE PUT ANY MORE OF HIS MONEY INTO SCUNTHORPE UNITED!!!!!!

we moan when things are last minute, so having a early choice is a start, just hope they announce the winner earlier and start selling them after this shambolic season ends instead of the start of preseason friendlies.

Exactly, maybe it’s a sign of learning from previous criticism & mistakes?

There was me thinking SUFC had a CEO and departmental managers to deal with things like that.

I can just imagine Roman Abramovich on his yacht ringing Nike to sort out Chelsea’s kits.

    🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

UTI99, you are all doom and gloom about the club when everyone else is positive 😎

What is there to be positive about our Scunthorpe United Football League Club when the majority of fans think this is the season we drop out of the Football League after 70 odd years membership.

Swann sat thinking “No incoming signings, the fans are getting restless and starting to blame me. What can I do to distract them?”…”Oh I know”…Please vote on a next seasons kits.

Message for Swann – How about you stop with the misdirection and pull your finger out of your ass and start helping the club survive the drop!

God help him if it was he who thought it would be a good distraction. He could do better than that surely? No answers needed 🤣

Just a thought, but maybe someone thought it was something positive to engage fans with?

If the third shirt debacle is anything to go by, they should have been ordered months ago! The big question is whether they will arrive for the start of the new Bananarama season?

    Let’s hope so because
It ain’t what you do it’s the way that you do it and that’s what gets results.
