Received an email from the Alzheimer’s Society confirming they have received the kind donation toney made with his prediction league winnings. Thank you to everyone that took part last season and made this possible.

Just paid my £15. First time playing so would be good to get an idea of the rules. Thanks Matt.

Welcome. Thanks for helping Matt and the Forum. Hope we can get a few more yet.

    Hi Matt.
For us first time ‘predictors’ could you please explain how we play the game – dont want to see the ‘Old Hands’ getting a head start cos I’ve failed to follow the correct procedure. (No dig intended to past or present owners!!)
I have looked around the site for any rules etc but failed miserably :)
    Cheers. UTI

Think you just have to predict the scores as accurately as possible.

To PLYMIRON play with your head and not your heart.

Personally I have on many occasions gone for an IRON win despite knowing that the enemy within didn’t want that. But I am will not change.

    Good luck, enjoy it.

The first two rounds of fixtures are live! There are five games per matchday for all league/cup weekends. Once SUFC exit a cup competition, there will be no further fixtures for that competition.

The max score per game is 12 points (correct score + 2 bonus points)

    Scoring is as follows:
Points for correct score – 10
For example predict 3-0 and the result is 3-0 award 10 points

Points for guessing a draw – 5 points
For example: predict 2-2 and the result is 1-1 award 5 points

Wrong score but predicted the correct winner – 5 points
For example: predict 1-0 and the result is 2-0 award 5 points

Points above are not cumulative, for example: predict 2-2 and the result is 2-2, you gain 10 points, NOT 15 points

There are also cumulative bonus points for the correct number of goals per team.
For example: Predict 3-0 and the result is 3-1 award – 1 bonus point
Predict 2-2 and result is 2-2 award – 2 bonus points

    Hope that explains it
Thanks to everybody who has signed up for this season. It is very much appreciated.

I’m predicting you’ll get two right!

I see what you’ve done there, but you’re bottom of the league before you start. I won’t get any right, but I won’t get any wrong. 🤓

I’m buzzin’, last year I was 40 points behind after week one, this year I’m only 30 adrift.
Sanfran – details from Matt just above your previous post.

Heath and Open Hearth, sounding alike appear to be managed by Keith Hill. Hopefully they’ll have the chance to turn their season around
